Leviticus Chapter 26
No cap, don’t be crafting any idols or statues, 'cause I’m the Lord your God, fam.
Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up {any} image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I {am} the LORD your God. {standing...: or, pillar} {image of...: or, figured stone: Heb. a stone of picture}
Keep my sabbaths and honor my sanctuary, fr, I’m the Lord.
Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I {am} the LORD.
If you vibe with my rules and actually follow them;
If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
Then I’ll bless you with rain in due time, and your land will be thriving with growth, trees gon' be fruiting.
Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
Your harvests will be dope, and you’ll devour all the bread you want, living securely in your land.
And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
I’ll bring tranquility to your land, and you can relax without fear; I’ll take care of the wild beasts and keep danger away from you.
And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make {you} afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land. {rid: Heb. cause to cease}
You’ll pursue your enemies, and they’ll be dropping before you, no cap.
And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will make ten thousand run; your foes will be falling before you, fr.
And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
I’ll show you love, make you fruitful, multiply you, and keep my promise with you, periodt.
For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
You’ll be munching on the old things while bringing in the new, that's how it’s gonna roll, no cap.
And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
I'm gonna chill with you guys, and I won't ghost you, no cap.
And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.
I’ll walk alongside you, be your God, and you’ll be my squad, periodt.
And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.
I’m the Lord who freed you from Egypt so you wouldn’t be their slaves; I broke your chains and helped you stand strong, fr.
I {am} the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
But if you sleep on me and don’t follow the rules, that’s sus.
But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;
If you disregard my laws and don’t vibe with my judgments, breaking our contract, that’s a major red flag.
And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, {but} that ye break my covenant:
I’ll bring the heat on you; expect fear, sickness, and pain that’ll mess with your mind, and your hard work will be for nothing because your enemies will snatch it all.
I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. {over: Heb. upon}
I’ll turn my back on you, and you’ll be taken out by your foes; those who don’t like you will be in charge, and you’ll run even when no one’s chasing you, savage.
And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.
If you still don’t listen after all this, I’ll hit you with seven times the consequences for your mess-ups.
And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
I’ll crush your pride; your skies will feel like iron, and your land will be like brass, no cap.
And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
Your strength will be wasted; your land won’t yield anything, and the trees won’t bear fruit, that’s just facts.
And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.
If you’re acting sus and ignoring me, I’m gonna hit you with seven times more drama for your mess-ups.
And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins. {contrary...: or, at all adventures with me}
I’ll send wild beasts to target your kids and wreck your livestock, and you’ll be low-key struggling; your roads gonna be deserted.
I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your {high} ways shall be desolate.
If you’re not vibing with my ways after all this and keep acting up;
And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;
Then I’ll also be coming for you, and I’ll drop the punishment seven times harder for your sins.
Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
I’ll bring a sword to settle the score with my covenant: when you’re all huddled in your cities, I’ll unleash a plague, and you’ll be trapped by the enemy.
And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of {my} covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
When I’ve wrecked your food situation, ten women will bake your bread in one oven, and they’ll hand it to you by weight; you’ll eat but still be hungry, no cap.
{And} when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver {you} your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.
If you still won’t listen to me and keep acting sus;
And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
Then I’m coming for you with all my rage; I’ll go hard and punish you seven times for your sins.
Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
You’ll be eating the flesh of your own kids, and yeah, your daughters too.
And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.
I’ll destroy your high places, chop down your idols, and throw your corpses on top of your fake gods; my soul is gonna be straight-up disgusted with you.
And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.
I'ma trash your cities, make your holy spots a total mess, and your good vibes? Nah, I ain't feeling it.
And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.
I'll turn the land into a ghost town, and your enemies will be shook when they see it.
And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.
I'm scattering you like confetti among the outsiders, and a sword's gonna be on your tail; your land's gonna be empty, and your cities will be ghosted.
And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.
The land's gonna chill and take its sabbaths while you’re stuck in enemy territory; even then, the land will vibe and rest.
Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye {be} in your enemies' land; {even} then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.
As long as it’s a ghost town, it’ll rest; 'cause it didn’t get its chill time when you were living it up there.
As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.
For those left, I’ll send some major anxiety vibes in enemy lands; even the rustle of a leaf will freak them out, and they'll run like they're dodging a sword, falling down when no one's even chasing.
And upon them that are left {alive} of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth. {shaken: Heb. driven}
They'll trip over each other like they’re facing a sword, with no one even on their case; you won’t have the rizz to stand up to your enemies.
And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
You’ll be ghosted among the outsiders, and your enemy’s land will devour you.
And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
Those who are left will be feeling the weight of their wrongs in enemy lands; they’ll also be haunted by their fam's mess-ups.
And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.
If they spill the tea on their wrongs and their fam's mistakes, plus the times they went against me, we might just vibe it out.
If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;
So I’ve been lowkey against them, bringing them to their enemy’s turf; if they chill and own up to their mess-ups, then we’re good.
And {that} I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
I’ll remember my deal with Jacob, Isaac, and Abraham; I got their backs and the land too, fr.
Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.
The land will vibe on its own, enjoying its chill time while they’re gone, ‘cause they straight-up dissed my rules and couldn’t handle my laws.
The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
But even when they’re stuck in enemy territory, I won’t ghost them or ditch my promises, ‘cause I’m still their God, no cap.
And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I {am} the LORD their God.
I’ll remember the OG deal with their ancestors, the ones I pulled out of Egypt while everyone was watching, so I can still be their God: I’m the Lord.
But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I {am} the LORD.
These are the rules and vibes the Lord dropped between Him and the Israelites at Mount Sinai through Moses.
These {are} the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
