Job Chapter 28
No cap, there’s definitely a spot for silver, and a place where they score that gold.
Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold {where} they fine {it}. {vein: or, mine}
They pull up iron straight from the ground, and brass gets all cooked down from the stone, fr.
Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass {is} molten {out of} the stone. {earth: or, dust}
He literally shuts down the darkness and goes after all that perfection: the stones of darkness and the shadow of death, periodt.
He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.
The flood just spills out from the people; even the waters that feet forget are dried up, they ghosted away from humans.
The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; {even the waters} forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.
The earth be serving bread, and under it’s like fire is ignited, no cap.
{As for} the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire.
The stones here are where the sapphires hang out, and there’s gold dust, that’s bussin.
The stones of it {are} the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold. {dust...: or, gold ore}
There’s a path that no bird knows, and the vulture’s eye hasn’t spotted it, sus.
{There is} a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen:
The cubs of lions didn’t step here, and even the fierce lion didn’t roll through, lit.
The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.
He’s placing his hand on the rock; he flips the mountains like they’re nothing, savage.
He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots. {rock: or, flint}
He carves out rivers in the rocks; his eye catches every precious thing, goated.
He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.
He stops the floods from going crazy; and the secrets? They come to light, no cap.
He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and {the thing that is} hid bringeth he forth to light. {overflowing: Heb. weeping}
But fr, where's that wisdom at? Like, where’s the spot for understanding?
But where shall wisdom be found? and where {is} the place of understanding?
No one knows the price of that vibe; it ain’t found in this life, periodt.
Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.
The deep’s like, "Not here," and the sea’s like, "Not with me."
The depth saith, It {is} not in me: and the sea saith, {It is} not with me.
You can’t snag it with gold, and silver ain’t enough for that cost, bet.
It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed {for} the price thereof. {It...: Heb. Fine gold shall not be given for it}
It can't be compared to Ophir's gold, or those fancy stones like onyx and sapphire.
It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.
Gold and crystal can’t even stack up; you can’t trade it for fine jewels, fr.
The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it {shall not be for} jewels of fine gold. {jewels...: or, vessels of}
Nobody’s even mentioning coral or pearls; wisdom's worth way more than rubies.
No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom {is} above rubies. {coral: or, Ramoth}
The topaz from Ethiopia? Nah, it can’t compete, and it ain't worth pure gold either.
The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.
So where does wisdom actually come from? Like, what’s the spot for understanding?
Whence then cometh wisdom? and where {is} the place of understanding?
It's lowkey hidden from everyone and kept on the down-low from the birds, no cap.
Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air. {air: or, heaven}
Destruction and death are like, "We've heard the buzz about it, fr."
Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.
God knows the vibes and understands the whole situation, periodt.
God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof.
He checks out the edges of the earth and sees everything under the sky, lit.
For he looketh to the ends of the earth, {and} seeth under the whole heaven;
He’s out here weighing the winds and measuring the waters, that’s goated.
To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.
When he set the rules for rain and mapped out the lightning, savage moves.
When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:
Then he caught it and called it out; he got it ready and searched it out, bet.
Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out. {declare...: or, number it}
And to humans he said, "Yo, the fear of the Lord is wisdom; steering clear of evil is real understanding."
And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that {is} wisdom; and to depart from evil {is} understanding.
