Job Chapter 27
Job straight-up states,
Moreover Job continued his parable, and said, {continued: Heb. added to take up}
"As God is my witness, who took my call; and the Almighty, who’s been tripping with my vibes;
{As} God liveth, {who} hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, {who} hath vexed my soul; {vexed...: Heb. made my soul bitter}
As long as I’m breathing and God’s spirit vibes in my nostrils;
All the while my breath {is} in me, and the spirit of God {is} in my nostrils; {the spirit...: that is, the breath which God gave him}
My lips are not dropping any evil, and my tongue ain't spitting lies.
My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
No cap, I’m not backing you up: until I kick the bucket, I’m keeping my integrity on lock.
God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.
I’m gripping my rizz, and I’m never letting it slide: my heart won’t call me out as long as I’m breathing.
My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach {me} so long as I live. {so long...: Heb. from my days}
Let my foe be like the evildoers, and those who rise against me be the unjust.
Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.
What’s the point of a phony, even if they flex their stacks? When God snatches their soul, it’s curtains.
For what {is} the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?
Will God even peep their cries when chaos hits?
Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?
Will they vibe with the Almighty? Will they keep hitting up God?
Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?
I’ll spill the tea on what God says: I won’t hide anything from the Almighty.
I will teach you by the hand of God: {that} which {is} with the Almighty will I not conceal. {by...: or, being in the hand, etc}
Yo, you’ve all peeped it; so why are you acting all fake?
Behold, all ye yourselves have seen {it}; why then are ye thus altogether vain?
This is the destiny of a wicked person with God, and the legacy of oppressors they’ll scoop from the Almighty.
This {is} the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, {which} they shall receive of the Almighty.
If their kids grow, it’s for the sword: and their descendants won’t even get fed.
If his children be multiplied, {it is} for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.
Those left will find their end in death: and their widows won’t shed a tear.
Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.
Even if they stack up silver like it’s nothing, and craft clothes like they’re made of clay;
Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
They can prep it all, but the righteous will rock it, and the innocent will score the silver.
He may prepare {it}, but the just shall put {it} on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
They build their crib like a moth’s nest, and like a tent the keeper sets up.
He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth {that} the keeper maketh.
The wealthy will hit the hay, but they won’t be gathered: they open their eyes, and poof, they’re gone.
The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he {is} not.
Fears grab at them like waters, a storm sweeps them away in the dark.
Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
The east wind snatches them up, and they’re out: like a storm tossing them from their place.
The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.
For God will come down on them, and won’t hold back: they’d wish to bounce from His hold.
For {God} shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand. {he...: Heb. in fleeing he would flee}
People will applaud them, and hiss them out of their spot.
{Men} shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
