Isaiah Chapter 65
I’m straight-up found by folks who weren’t even searching for me; I’m like, “Yo, peep this,” to a crew that didn’t even vibe with my name.
I am sought of {them that} asked not {for me}; I am found of {them that} sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation {that} was not called by my name.
All day, I'm stretching my hands to a defiant bunch, rolling in sus paths, just doing their own thing.
I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way {that was} not good, after their own thoughts;
These peeps keep testing my patience right in my face; they’re out here making sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on brick altars, no cap.
A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick; {upon...: Heb. upon bricks}
They’re hanging out among graves and chilling at memorials, munching on pig and sipping on the worst stuff, fr.
Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable {things is in} their vessels; {broth: or, pieces}
They’re like, “Keep your distance, I’m more holy than you.” This energy is mad smoky in my nostrils, like a fire that just won’t stop.
Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These {are} a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day. {nose: or, anger}
Bet, it’s all documented: I’m not gonna stay quiet, but I’ll respond, no cap.
Behold, {it is} written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,
Your bad vibes and your family's bad vibes combined, says the Lord, who’ve been burning incense on hills and throwing shade at me: I’m gonna hit them back with their past actions.
Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
The Lord says, just like fresh wine is found in the bunch, and someone’s like, “Don’t waste that; there's a blessing in it,” I’ll do the same for my people, so I don’t wipe them all off the map.
Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and {one} saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing {is} in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
Out of Jacob, I’ll bring a new generation, and from Judah, an heir of my mountains: my chosen ones will take it, and my squad will vibe there.
And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
Sharon’s gonna be a hangout for flocks, and Achor Valley will be a chill zone for herds to relax, for my peeps who’ve been seeking me.
And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
But you all are the ones ditching the Lord, forgetting my holy mountain, setting up tables for that crew, and pouring drinks for that squad.
But ye {are} they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number. {troop: or, Gad} {number: or, Meni, a pagan god}
So I’m counting you all for the sword, and you’re gonna bow down to the slaughter: when I called, you ghosted; when I talked, you didn’t listen; you did wrong in my sight and chose what I ain’t vibing with.
Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose {that} wherein I delighted not.
So the Lord God says, check this out: my crew will eat, but you’ll be starving; my crew will drink, but you’ll be thirsty; my crew will be vibing, but you’ll feel that embarrassment.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
My crew will be singing with joy, but you’ll be howling from sorrow, crying from vexation of spirit, periodt.
Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit. {vexation: Heb. breaking}
You’ll leave your name as a curse for my chosen ones: the Lord God’s gonna eliminate you and call his crew by a different name.
And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
Anyone who blesses themselves on this earth will vibe with the God of truth; and whoever swears will do it by the God of truth; past troubles are forgotten and hidden from my sight.
That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
For real, I’m crafting new heavens and a new earth: the old stuff won’t be remembered or even come to mind.
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. {come...: Heb. come upon the heart}
But be hyped and rejoice forever in what I create: for I’m making Jerusalem a place of joy, and her people a straight-up vibe.
But be ye glad and rejoice for ever {in that} which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
I’ll be vibing in Jerusalem, feeling joy in my people: no more weeping or crying will be heard there.
And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
There won’t be any babies dying early, or elders who didn’t live their days: a kid will die at a hundred, but a sinner at a hundred will be cursed.
There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner {being} an hundred years old shall be accursed.
They’ll build their own places and live in them; they’ll plant vineyards and enjoy the harvest.
And they shall build houses, and inhabit {them}; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
They won’t build for others or plant for others to reap: just like the days of a tree are the days of my people, my chosen ones will enjoy the work of their hands for ages.
They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree {are} the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. {shall long...: Heb. shall make them continue long, or, shall wear out}
They won’t labor in vain or produce for trouble; they’re the blessed offspring of the Lord, and their descendants too.
They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they {are} the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
And it’ll go down like this: before they call, I’ll respond; while they're still chatting, I’ll hear.
And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
The wolf and the lamb will chill together, and the lion will munch on straw like a bull; and dust will be the serpent’s food. They won’t hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain, says the Lord.
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust {shall be} the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
