Isaiah Chapter 39
So Merodach–baladan, the Babylon king, slid into Hezekiah's DMs with some gifts 'cause he got the tea that Hezekiah was down and now he's back to vibing.
At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.
Hezekiah was super hyped and showed off all his dope things—silver, gold, spices, and that fire ointment. He flexed hard, no cap.
And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not. {precious things: or, spicery} {armour: or, jewels: Heb. vessels, or, instruments}
Then Isaiah the prophet rolled up on Hezekiah and asked, "What did they say? Where they from?" Hezekiah was like, "They came from way far, straight outta Babylon."
Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country unto me, {even} from Babylon.
Isaiah was like, "What did they peep in your pad?" Hezekiah replied, "They checked out everything; I showed them all my treasures, no sus vibes at all."
Then said he, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that {is} in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.
Then Isaiah dropped this on Hezekiah: "Yo, listen up, here’s the scoop from the Lord of hosts:"
Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD of hosts:
"Straight up, days are coming when everything in your crib and all that your fam has stacked is getting snatched to Babylon; nothing's staying, periodt."
Behold, the days come, that all that {is} in thine house, and {that} which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
"And your future kids? They’re gonna be taken too, and they'll be grinding in the Babylon king's palace, fr."
And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
Hezekiah hit back at Isaiah, "The word from the Lord is solid." He added, "As long as there’s peace and truth while I'm still here, I’m good."
Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good {is} the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.
