Isaiah Chapter 35
The barren land and empty places are really vibing for them; the desert's about to go off and flourish like a rose.
The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
It's gonna explode with blooms, celebrating with joy and tunes: the glory of Lebanon’s all up in it, the greatness of Carmel and Sharon, they'll peep the Lord's glory, no cap.
It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, {and} the excellency of our God.
So lift up the weak hands and give some flavor to the shaky knees.
Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
Let those with anxious hearts know, "Stay sturdy, no fear: your God is pulling up with some serious power; He’s here to save you."
Say to them {that are} of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come {with} vengeance, {even} God {with} a recompence; he will come and save you. {fearful: Heb. hasty}
God literally went and opened the eyes of the blind and the ears of the deaf, fr.
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
The lame will hop like a deer, and the mute will be vibing with songs: in the wild, water’s gonna gush out, and streams will flow in the desert, so lit!
Then shall the lame {man} leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
The dry land’s about to transform into a pool, and the thirsty ground will have springs: where the dragons chill, there’ll be grass and reeds, periodt.
And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, {shall be} grass with reeds and rushes. {grass...: or, a court for reeds, etc}
There’ll be a highway, known as The way of holiness; no unclean folks allowed; it’s for those journeying, even if they seem a bit sus, they won't slip up.
And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it {shall be} for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err {therein}. {but...: or, for he shall be with them}
No lions or wild beasts will be around; it’s a no-go zone for them; only the redeemed will be strolling through.
No lion shall be there, nor {any} ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk {there}:
The ones rescued by the Lord are rolling back, showing up in Zion with songs and everlasting joy on their heads: they’ll scoop up joy and gladness, while all sadness and sighing will peace out.
And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
