Hebrews Chapter 9
So like, the initial covenant had some serious guidelines for worshiping and a chill area for praise.
Then verily the first {covenant} had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. {ordinances: or, ceremonies}
They put together a tabernacle, the first one, with the candlestick, table, and showbread; it was the ultimate hangout.
For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein {was} the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary. {the sanctuary: or, holy}
And behind the second veil, there was the tabernacle called the Holiest of all; vibes were immaculate.
And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
It featured a golden censer and the ark of the covenant, all blinged out in gold, with a pot of manna, Aaron's rizzed-up rod, and the tables of the covenant.
Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein {was} the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
And above it were the cherubim showing off their glory, covering the mercy seat; we can’t spill all the tea about that right now.
And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
Once everything was arranged, the priests were always vibing in the first tabernacle, grinding for God.
Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service {of God}.
But the high priest slid into the second one solo once a year, not without blood, which he presented for himself and the people's mess-ups.
But into the second {went} the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and {for} the errors of the people:
The Holy Ghost was hinting that the entrance to the Holiest wasn't revealed yet, while the first tabernacle was still in play.
The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
It was a whole vibe back then, where they presented gifts and sacrifices that didn’t really perfect the service dude's conscience.
Which {was} a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
It was all about food, drinks, and different washings, with earthly rules until the time of reformation dropped.
{Which stood} only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed {on them} until the time of reformation. {ordinances: or, rites, or, ceremonies}
But Christ showed up as the ultimate high priest, bringing all the good vibes to come, in a next-level tabernacle, not crafted by human hands, fr.
But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Not by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood, He entered the holy place once, locking in our eternal redemption, no cap.
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption {for us}.
If the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of a heifer can cleanse the unclean, that’s pretty lit for the flesh.
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
How much more does the blood of Christ, who vibed through the eternal Spirit and offered Himself flawless to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? {spot: or, fault}
That’s why He’s the goated mediator of the new testament, so through His death, we can cash in on the promise of eternal inheritance, periodt.
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions {that were} under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Where there’s a testament, there’s gotta be a death of the testator; that’s just the way it is.
For where a testament {is}, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. {be: or, be brought in}
A testament only kicks in after the testator passes; while they’re alive, it’s basically sus.
For a testament {is} of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
The first testament didn’t even get dedicated without some blood, that’s just facts.
Whereupon neither the first {testament} was dedicated without blood. {dedicated: or, purified}
When Moses dropped all the laws to the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, mixed it with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled it on the book and all the peeps, fr.
For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, {scarlet: or, purple}
He declared, "This is the blood of the testament that God made for you."
Saying, This {is} the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
He sprinkled blood on the tabernacle and all the ministry stuff, no cap.
Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
Basically, everything’s cleaned up by blood; without that, there’s no forgiveness, periodt.
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
So, it was essential to purify the heavenly vibes with these sacrifices, but the real deal needs better ones, fr.
{It was} therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
Christ didn’t step into the man-made holy spots; He’s in heaven now, flexing in God's presence for us.
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, {which are} the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
He ain't gotta keep offering Himself like the high priest does yearly with that blood; that’s sus.
Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
If that were the case, He would’ve been suffering since day one, but instead, He showed up once to take away sin with His own sacrifice, lit.
For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
People gotta die once, then it’s judgment time, no cap.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
So, Christ was offered once to handle the sins of many; those looking for Him will see Him again, no sin, just salvation, bet.
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
