Genesis Chapter 46
So Israel gathered all his gear and bounced to Beer-sheba, throwing down some sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.
And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.
God literally came to Israel in a night vision, calling out, "Jacob, Jacob." And Jacob was like, "What’s good? I’m here!"
And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here {am} I.
God said, "Listen up, I’m the God of your pops. For real, don’t trip about heading to Egypt; I’m about to make you a big nation there."
And he said, I {am} God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:
"I’m rolling with you to Egypt, and I’ll bring you back; Joseph’s gonna be there to close your eyes, fam."
I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up {again}: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.
Jacob ditched Beer-sheba, and his sons loaded him, the kids, and their wives into the wagons sent by Pharaoh.
And Jacob rose up from Beersheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.
They loaded up their livestock and goods from Canaan and dipped into Egypt, Jacob and his entire squad.
And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him:
All his sons, grandsons, daughters, and granddaughters cruised with him into Egypt.
His sons, and his sons' sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt.
Here’s the lineup of Israel’s kids who rolled to Egypt: Jacob and his sons, starting with Reuben, his firstborn.
And these {are} the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob's firstborn.
Reuben’s sons are Hanoch, Phallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.
Simeon’s crew includes Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul, whose mom was a Canaanite.
And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman. {Jemuel: or, Nemuel} {Jachin: or, Jarib} {Zohar: or, Zerah}
Levi’s squad: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
And the sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. {Gershon: or, Gershom}
Judah’s peeps: Er, Onan, Shelah, Pharez, and Zerah. Er and Onan dipped out in Canaan. Pharez’s fam is Hezron and Hamul.
And the sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zerah: but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Pharez were Hezron and Hamul.
Issachar’s crew: Tola, Phuvah, Job, and Shimron.
And the sons of Issachar; Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron. {Phuvah, and Job: or, Puah, and Jashub}
Zebulun’s gang: Sered, Elon, and Jahleel.
And the sons of Zebulun; Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.
These are Leah’s kiddos with Jacob in Padan–aram, plus Dinah. Total fam vibes: thirty-three souls.
These {be} the sons of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob in Padanaram, with his daughter Dinah: all the souls of his sons and his daughters {were} thirty and three.
Gad’s crew: Ziphion, Haggi, Shuni, Ezbon, Eri, Arodi, and Areli.
And the sons of Gad; Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli. {Ziphion: or, Zephon} {Ezbon: or, Ozni} {Arodi: or, Arod}
Asher’s peeps: Jimnah, Ishuah, Isui, Beriah, and their sister Serah. Beriah’s kids are Heber and Malchiel.
And the sons of Asher; Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and Serah their sister: and the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel.
Zilpah’s fam, given to Leah by Laban, brought sixteen souls with Jacob.
These {are} the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and these she bare unto Jacob, {even} sixteen souls.
Rachel, Jacob’s wifey, had Joseph and Benjamin.

In Egypt, Joseph’s fam lit up with Manasseh and Ephraim, born to him by Asenath, Poti-pherah's daughter.
And unto Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him. {priest: or, prince}
The fam of Benjamin? Belah, Becher, Ashbel, Gera, Naaman, Ehi, Rosh, Muppim, Huppim, and Ard. Major squad vibes.
And the sons of Benjamin {were} Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard. {Ehi: or, Ahiram} {Muppim: or, Shupham or, Shuppim} {Huppim: or, Hupham}
These are Rachel’s kids with Jacob: all together, that's fourteen souls, no cap.
These {are} the sons of Rachel, which were born to Jacob: all the souls {were} fourteen.
And then there’s Dan’s kid: Hushim, just chillin'.
And the sons of Dan; Hushim. {Hushim: or, Shuham}
For Naphtali, we got Jahzeel, Guni, Jezer, and Shillem, all vibing.
And the sons of Naphtali; Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.
These are Bilhah’s kids, the ones Laban gave Rachel, and she popped out seven souls for Jacob, fr.
These {are} the sons of Bilhah, which Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and she bare these unto Jacob: all the souls {were} seven.
All the peeps that dipped with Jacob to Egypt, straight from his fam, not including his sons' wives, were sixty-six souls, periodt.
All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, which came out of his loins, besides Jacob's sons' wives, all the souls {were} threescore and six; {loins: Heb. thigh}
Joseph’s kids born in Egypt? Just two souls. So, all the homies from Jacob's crib that hit Egypt? Seventy souls, bet.
And the sons of Joseph, which were born him in Egypt, {were} two souls: all the souls of the house of Jacob, which came into Egypt, {were} threescore and ten.
He sent Judah ahead to Joseph to catch the vibes in Goshen; they slid into the land of Goshen.
And he sent Judah before him unto Joseph, to direct his face unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.
Joseph got his ride ready and pulled up to meet his dad Israel in Goshen, and they shared a heartfelt moment, no cap.
And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.
Israel told Joseph, "Now I can peace out, 'cause I’ve seen your face and you’re still alive. Lit!"
And Israel said unto Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, because thou {art} yet alive.
Joseph told his fam, "I’m about to roll up to Pharaoh and let him know my crew and fam from Canaan just arrived, no cap."
And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father's house, I will go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father's house, which {were} in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;
The guys are all about that shepherd grind, just feeding the cattle and rolling with their flocks and herds, vibes.
And the men {are} shepherds, for their trade hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have. {their trade...: Heb. they are men of cattle}
When Pharaoh hits you up and asks what you do, just know he’s curious.
And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What {is} your occupation?
You gotta say, 'We’ve been all about cattle since the jump, us and our pops, so we can chill in Goshen ‘cause Egyptians think shepherds are sus.'
That ye shall say, Thy servants' trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, {and} also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd {is} an abomination unto the Egyptians.
