Exodus Chapter 15
So Moses and the squad dropped this sick track for the Lord, saying, "I’m vibing for the Lord 'cause He just went off: the horse and rider got wrecked in the sea."
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
The Lord’s my strength and my anthem, He’s my whole vibe: my God, and I’m gonna set up a place for Him; my pops' God, and I’m gonna hype Him big time.
The LORD {is} my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he {is} my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.
The Lord’s a total champ: that’s just facts, fr.
The LORD {is} a man of war: the LORD {is} his name.
Pharaoh’s chariots and crew got tossed in the deep: even his top commanders drowned in the Red Sea, no cap.
Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
The depths pulled them down: they dropped like stones, fam.
The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.
Your right hand, Lord, is lit with power: Your right hand, Lord, wrecked the enemy to pieces.
Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.
With Your epic greatness, You took down those who came for You: You let loose Your wrath, and it burned them up like dry grass.
And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, {which} consumed them as stubble.
With a breath from Your nostrils, the waters stacked up, the floods stood tall like a wall, and the depths froze in the heart of the sea.
And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, {and} the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.
The enemy was like, "I’m coming for you, gonna grab what’s mine; my cravings will be satisfied; I’ll pull my sword and wreck them all."
The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. {destroy: or, repossess}
You blew with Your wind, and the sea swamped them: they sank like lead in the deep waters.
Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.
Who’s got the vibe like you, Lord, among the crew? You’re goated in holiness, no cap, pulling off mad wonders!
Who {is} like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who {is} like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful {in} praises, doing wonders? {gods: or, mighty ones?}
You flexed your right hand, and the earth just swallowed them whole.
Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.
In Your mercy, You led Your peeps that You redeemed; You guided them strong to Your holy place, fr.
Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people {which} thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided {them} in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.
The crowd's gonna hear and be shook; sadness is gonna hit the crew in Palestina.
The people shall hear, {and} be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.
Edom's leaders are gonna be like, "Whoa," and the tough guys from Moab will be trembling; all the Canaanites are gonna melt away.
Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.
Fear and dread are gonna drop on them; by Your epic strength, they’ll be as still as a rock until Your people pass over, Lord.
Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be {as} still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over, {which} thou hast purchased.
You’re gonna bring them in and plant them on Your holy mountain, the spot You crafted to chill in, the Sanctuary You've set up, Lord.
Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, {in} the place, O LORD, {which} thou hast made for thee to dwell in, {in} the Sanctuary, O Lord, {which} thy hands have established.
The Lord’s gonna reign forever and ever, periodt.
The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.
Pharaoh's horse went in with his chariots and homies into the sea, but the Lord made the waters come back on them; the Israelites walked on dry land right in the middle of the sea.
For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry {land} in the midst of the sea.
Miriam, the prophetess and Aaron’s sister, grabbed a tambourine and all the girls vibed out after her with tambourines and dances.
And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
Miriam was like, "Yo, sing to the Lord! He just flexed on the enemy; the horses and their riders are straight up in the sea now. Lit!"
And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
So Moses led Israel from the Red Sea, and they dipped into the wilderness of Shur; after three days with no vibes, they were parched.
So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
When they hit Marah, the water was straight up bitter, so they called it Marah. Major sus.
And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they {were} bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. {Marah: that is Bitterness}
The squad was complaining to Moses like, "What are we gonna drink, fam?"
And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
Moses hit up the Lord, and God showed him a tree. He tossed it in the water, and boom, the water turned sweet. He dropped some rules and tested them there.
And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, {which} when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,
God was like, "If you vibe with my voice and do what’s right by me, keep my commandments, I won’t hit you with any of those diseases I gave the Egyptians. No cap, I’m the Lord who heals you."
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I {am} the LORD that healeth thee.
They rolled up to Elim, where there were twelve lit wells and seventy palm trees. They set up camp by the water.
And they came to Elim, where {were} twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.
