Ecclesiastes Chapter 3
Everything's got its vibe, and there's a moment for every purpose under the sun, for real.
To every {thing there is} a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A moment to come into this world, and a moment to bounce; a moment to plant, and a moment to uproot what’s planted, no cap.
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up {that which is} planted; {to be...: Heb. to bear}
A moment to toss out the garbage, and a moment to heal; a moment to break it down, and a moment to build it back up, bet.
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A moment to shed tears, and a moment to giggle; a moment to grieve, and a moment to dance like nobody's watching, periodt.
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A moment to ditch stones, and a moment to scoop them up; a moment to embrace, and a moment to chill on the hugs.
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; {to refrain from: Heb. to be far from}
A moment to score some things, and a moment to lose it; a moment to cling on, and a moment to release, no cap.
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; {get: or, seek}
A moment to tear it apart, and a moment to stitch it back together; a moment to keep it lowkey, and a moment to spill the tea.
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A moment to love, and a moment to hate; a moment for conflict, and a moment for chill vibes, it’s all good.
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
What’s the grind for if you ain't reaping anything from it?
What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
I've witnessed the struggle that God’s got everyone hustling through, and it’s intense.
I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
He’s made everything look fire in its own time: also, He’s set the world in our hearts, so we can't really understand what God’s been doing from the beginning to the end.
He hath made every {thing} beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
I get there's not much good in it, but a guy should vibe, and do right in his life, for real.
I know that {there is} no good in them, but for {a man} to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
Plus, every dude should munch, sip, and soak in the good from all his grind; that’s a total blessing from God.
And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it {is} the gift of God.
I know whatever God pulls off is forever: nothing can be added or taken away, and God does it so people can give Him mad respect.
I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth {it}, that {men} should fear before him.
What’s been is present; and what’s ahead has already been; and God desires what’s gone.
That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. {that which is past: Heb. that which is driven away}
I noticed under the sun that judgment's present; wrongdoing is hanging out there; and righteousness is sus, too.
And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, {that} wickedness {was} there; and the place of righteousness, {that} iniquity {was} there.
I thought in my heart, God's gonna judge the good and the bad: 'cause there’s a moment for every purpose and every grind.
I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for {there is} a time there for every purpose and for every work.
I considered the state of humanity, that God might reveal it to them, and they might realize they're just beasts out here.
I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. {that God...: or, that they might clear God, and see, etc}
What happens to humans happens to beasts; they face the same outcome: one dies, the other dies; they all breathe the same air, so no one is superior to a beast: it’s all vanity.
For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all {is} vanity.
We all end up in the same place; we're all made from dust, and we’re all gonna return to dust.
All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
Who knows the spirit of a person that rises, and the spirit of a beast that sinks down to the ground?
Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? {of man: Heb. of the sons of man} {goeth upward: Heb. is ascending, etc}
So I see that there’s nothing better than a dude vibing with his own grind; that’s his share: who’s gonna tell him what’s up next?
Wherefore I perceive that {there is} nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that {is} his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?
