Romans Chapter 8
For real, if you’re rolling with Christ Jesus, there's no judgment vibes, just living in the Spirit, not in the flesh.
{There is} therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
The life Spirit in Christ Jesus straight-up liberated me from that sin and death law, no cap.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
The law couldn’t handle its business ‘cause it was weak, so God sent His Son, looking all human but tackling sin like a champ.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: {for sin: or, by a sacrifice for sin}
Now we’re out here fulfilling the law’s righteousness, vibing in the Spirit, not in the flesh.
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Those who are all about the flesh are focused on fleshly things; whereas the Spirit crew is tuned into spiritual matters.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Being all about that flesh grind is a no-go; being spiritually woke brings life and peace, periodt.
For to be carnally minded {is} death; but to be spiritually minded {is} life and peace. {to be carnally...: Gr. the minding of the flesh} {to be spiritually...: Gr. the minding of the Spirit}
The flesh mindset is mad sus to God; it doesn’t follow His game plan, for real.
Because the carnal mind {is} enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. {the carnal...: Gr. the minding of the flesh}
So if you’re all in with the flesh, you can't please God, fam.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
But you’re not in the flesh, you’re in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God is hanging out in you. If you don’t have the Spirit of Christ, you ain't part of the fam.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
If Christ is vibing in you, your body might be a goner because of sin, but the Spirit is pure life ‘cause of that righteousness.
And if Christ {be} in you, the body {is} dead because of sin; but the Spirit {is} life because of righteousness.
If the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is chilling in you, He who brought Christ back is gonna boost your bodies, no cap.
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. {by: or, because of}
So fam, we don’t have to show off for the flesh, we’re living for something way more epic.
Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
If you chase after the flesh, that’s a total L; but if you let the Spirit cut off those bad vibes, you’ll be living lit.
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
For all those led by God’s Spirit, they’re the real ones, the true children of God, fr.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
You didn’t get that spirit of fear back; you got the Spirit of adoption, and we’re out here saying, "Yo, Dad, what’s up?"
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
The Spirit vibes with our spirit, confirming we’re God’s kiddos, periodt.
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
And if we’re His kids, we’re heirs; heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, so if we roll with Him through the grind, we’ll shine together.
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with {him}, that we may be also glorified together.
I’m saying that the struggles we face today can’t even touch the glory that’s about to drop in us, no cap.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time {are} not worthy {to be compared} with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
The entire creation is lowkey waiting for the moment when God’s kids show up; it’s gonna be fire.
For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Creation got locked in this emptiness, not by choice, but ‘cause of the one who set it up, holding onto hope.
For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected {the same} in hope,
The whole creation is about to bounce back from all the mess and step into that glorious freedom of God’s crew.
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
We know the entire world is groaning and struggling, like, for real, until now.
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. {the...: or, every creature}
Not just them, but us too, who got the first vibes of the Spirit, we’re lowkey groaning inside, waiting to be adopted and redeemed.
And not only {they}, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, {to wit}, the redemption of our body.
We’re saved by hope, but hope you can see ain’t really hope; like, if you can see it, why still hoping?
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
But if we’re hoping for what we can’t see, we gotta chill and wait for it with patience.
But if we hope for that we see not, {then} do we with patience wait for {it}.
The Spirit helps us with our struggles, ‘cause we don’t always know what to pray for, but the Spirit’s got our back with vibes we can’t even put into words.
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
And the one who knows our hearts gets the Spirit’s thoughts, ‘cause it’s interceding for the saints according to God’s plan.
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what {is} the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to {the will of} God. {because: or, that}
We know everything's gonna work out for good for those who love God, for the ones called for His purpose.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to {his} purpose.
Those He knew ahead of time, He also planned for them to be like His Son, so He could be the GOAT among many siblings.
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate {to be} conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Plus, those He planned for, He called; and those He called, He justified; and those He justified, He glorified.
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
So what’s the scoop on all this? If God’s got our back, who can even step to us?
What shall we then say to these things? If God {be} for us, who {can be} against us?
If He didn’t hold back His own Son but gave Him up for all of us, you know He’s gonna bless us with everything else, no cap.
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Who’s gonna come for God’s chosen ones? It’s God who’s got us justified, fam.
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? {It is} God that justifieth.
Who even tries to judge us? Christ is the one who died and came back, chillin’ at God’s right hand, making sure we’re good.
Who {is} he that condemneth? {It is} Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
What could ever pull us away from Christ’s love? Not hard times, stress, haters, hunger, being broke, danger, or even a sword, fr.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? {shall} tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
It’s written that we’re getting taken out all day long; we’re like sheep ready for the slaughter, but we’re still vibin’.
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nah, in all this stuff, we’re straight-up more than conquerors through Him who’s got mad love for us.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
I’m convinced, like, nothing can mess with us—no death, life, angels, bosses, or anything wild now or later.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Not even height, depth, or any other creature can break us away from God’s love, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
