Revelation Chapter 8
So when he ripped open the seventh seal, heaven went totally quiet for like thirty minutes.
And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
I peeped seven angels chilling out before God, and they were given seven trumpets.
And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
Next up, another angel showed up at the altar with a gold censer, bringing a whole lot of incense to vibe with all the prayers from the saints on that golden altar near the throne.
And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer {it} with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. {offer...: or, add it to the prayers}
The smoke from the incense, blended with the saints' prayers, went up to God from the angel's hand.
And the smoke of the incense, {which came} with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
The angel took the censer, packed it with fire from the altar, and tossed it down to earth: then there were voices, thunder, lightning, and an earthquake.
And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast {it} into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. {into: or, upon}
The seven angels with the trumpets were gearing up to pop off.
And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
The first angel blew his trumpet, and then hail and fire mixed with blood rained down on the earth: a third of the trees got roasted, and all the green grass went up in flames.
The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
The second angel blew his trumpet, and a giant flaming mountain got hurled into the sea: a third of the sea turned to blood.
And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
A third of the sea creatures that were alive bit the dust, and a third of the ships got demolished.
And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
The third angel blew his trumpet, and a massive star came crashing down from heaven, blazing like a lamp, landing on a third of the rivers and water sources.
And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
The star was called Wormwood, and a third of the waters turned sour; tons of people died from the waters 'cause they were contaminated.
And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun, moon, and stars were ruined; so a third of them went dark, and the day didn’t shine for a third of it, same for the night.
And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
I saw and heard an angel flying through heaven, shouting loudly, "Woe, woe, woe to the earth dwellers because of the upcoming blasts from the trumpets of the three angels!"
And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
