Revelation Chapter 13
So I was kickin' it by the shore when I peeped this beast rise from the surf, sporting seven heads and ten horns, all decked out with crowns and looking mad sus with names of blasphemy.
And saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. {name: or, names}
The beast I was checkin' out had the vibe of a leopard, with bear-like feet and a lion's mouth; the dragon granted him some serious power and a throne, like, straight up legendary.
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as {the feet} of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
One of his heads looked all messed up, like it was dead, but then it got healed, and everyone was shook, totally vibing after the beast.
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. {wounded: Gr. slain}
They were lowkey bowing down to the dragon that powered the beast, saying, 'Who’s like this beast? Who can even take him on?'
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who {is} like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
He had a mouth full of major talk and blasphemies, and was given the power to flex for 42 months, no cap.
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty {and} two months. {to continue: or, to make war}
He opened his mouth to throw shade at God, dissing His name and His spot up in heaven.
And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
He was given the go-ahead to battle against the saints and show off over all kinds of folks, nations, and languages.
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Everyone on the planet will worship him, except those whose names are written in the Lamb's life book, the one that was slain since the very beginning.
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
If you got ears, listen up.
If any man have an ear, let him hear.
Whoever takes folks into captivity is gonna get taken captive; whoever kills with the sword will be on the receiving end too. This is where the patience and faith of the saints shine.
He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Then I saw another beast rising from the ground, with two horns like a lamb but talking like a dragon, savage vibes.
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
He flexes all the power of the first beast and gets everyone on earth to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed, straight up wild.
And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
He performs insane wonders, making fire rain down from heaven to earth right before everyone's eyes, no cap.
And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
He deceives everyone living on earth with these miracles he pulls off in front of the beast, telling them to create an image of the beast, the one with the sword wound that still lived.
And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by {the means of} those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
He had the power to give life to the beast's image so it could talk, and anyone who wouldn’t bow down to it would face serious consequences.
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. {life: Gr. breath}
He forces everyone, rich or poor, big or small, to get a mark on their right hand or forehead, no exceptions.
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: {to receive: Gr. to give them}
No one can buy or sell unless they have the mark, the beast's name, or the number of his name, periodt.
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here’s the wisdom: let those who understand figure out the beast's number; it’s the number of a man, and it’s 666, fr.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number {is} Six hundred threescore {and} six.
