Psalms Chapter 7
Ayo, God, my dude, I'm putting my full faith in you: save me from all the haters coming at me, and hook me up, fr.
[Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite.] O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me: {words: or, business}
Otherwise, he’ll rip my soul apart like a lion, shredding it, and nobody’s gonna save me, no cap.
Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending {it} in pieces, while {there is} none to deliver. {none...: Heb. not a deliverer}
Yo, God, if I've messed things up; if there's anything sus going on with me;
O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
If I’ve done someone dirty who was chill with me; yeah, I’ve helped my enemies for no reason:
If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
Let the enemy chase my soul down and snatch it; let him trample on my life here and drag my honor through the mud. Periodt.
Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take {it}; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
So rise up, Lord, in your rage, flex on my enemies: wake up for the judgment you promised to deliver.
Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me {to} the judgment {that} thou hast commanded.
Then the squad will gather around you: for their sake, rise back up high.
So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
The Lord's gonna judge the people: judge me, God, based on my vibe and how I keep it real.
The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity {that is} in me.
Oh, let the wickedness of the evildoers just come to an end; but lift up the just: ‘cause the righteous God checks hearts and minds.
Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
My shield is God, who saves the real ones in heart.
My defence {is} of God, which saveth the upright in heart. {My...: Heb. My buckler is upon God}
God judges the righteous, and He’s got issues with the wicked daily.
God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry {with the wicked} every day. {judgeth...: or, is a righteous judge}
If they don’t change their ways, He’s sharpening His sword; His bow is bent and ready to fire.
If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
He’s also set up the tools of death; His arrows are aimed right at the haters.
He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
Look, he’s wrestling with iniquity, whipping up trouble, and spitting out lies.
Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
He dug a hole and now he’s falling into the pit he created.
He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch {which} he made. {He made a pit: Heb. He hath digged a pit}
His trouble's coming back to bite him, and his savage moves are gonna hit him hard.
His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
I’m gonna vibe with the Lord for His righteousness: and I’ll sing praises to the name of the most high Lord.
I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
