Psalms Chapter 146
Big up the Lord, squad. My soul's gotta vibe with Him, no cap.
Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. {Praise ye...: Heb. Hallelujah}
While I’m still breathing, I’ll be lifting up praises to the Lord: belting out my love for my God, for real.
While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
Don’t place your faith in rulers or mere mortals; they can’t really assist you, fr.
Put not your trust in princes, {nor} in the son of man, in whom {there is} no help. {help: or, salvation}
As soon as he exhales, he’s back to the dust; all his ideas vanish that day, periodt.
His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
Chillin’ with the God of Jacob as your crew? That’s a blessed vibe; putting hope in the Lord, straight facts.
Happy {is he} that {hath} the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope {is} in the LORD his God:
He crafted the heavens, the earth, the seas, and everything in between; He keeps it solid forever.
Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein {is}: which keepeth truth for ever:
He serves justice for those who are treated unfairly and provides for the hungry. The Lord liberates the captives, lit.
Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
The Lord gets the blind peepers seeing; He uplifts the humble; His love for the righteous is mad strong.
The LORD openeth {the eyes of} the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
The Lord watches over the outsiders; He aids the orphans and widows, but twists the wicked’s path upside down.
The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
The Lord rules eternally, your God, Zion, for all times. Always praise the Lord.
The LORD shall reign for ever, {even} thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
