Psalms Chapter 13
So, how long you just gonna leave me on read, God? For eternity? When you planning to pop back in?
[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.] How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? {chief...: or, overseer}
How long do I have to roll solo with this heavy heart? When's my rival gonna stop flexing on me?
How long shall I take counsel in my soul, {having} sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
Listen up, Lord my God: brighten my eyes, or I'm gonna be down for the count, fr.
Consider {and} hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the {sleep of} death;
Don’t let my rival think they’ve won; I can't have those stressing me out throwing a party when I trip up.
Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; {and} those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
But I’m totally banking on your mercy; my heart's gonna vibe with your salvation.
But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
I’m about to drop a song for the Lord 'cause he's been so solid to me, no cap.
I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
