Psalms Chapter 116
I vibe with the Lord 'cause He listened to my voice and my prayers, no cap.
I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice {and} my supplications.
He’s tuned in to me, so I’m hitting Him up for life, periodt.
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon {him} as long as I live. {as long...: Heb. in my days}
Death had me in a chokehold, and hell's pain had me shook; I was in hella trouble and sorrow.
The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. {gat...: Heb. found me}
I hit up the Lord, like, "Yo, Lord, please rescue my soul."
Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
The Lord's got mad grace and is straight-up righteous; our God is seriously merciful, fr.
Gracious {is} the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God {is} merciful.
The Lord’s got the simple on lock: I was low-key struggling, and He lifted me high.
The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
Chill out, my soul; the Lord's been showering you with blessings.
Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
He saved my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling.
For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, {and} my feet from falling.
I’m gonna walk before the Lord in the land of the living, lit.
I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
I had faith, so I spoke up: I was really struggling.
I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
I said in my haste, "All peeps are sus."
I said in my haste, All men {are} liars.
What can I offer the Lord for all the solid things He’s done for me?
What shall I render unto the LORD {for} all his benefits toward me?
I’m grabbing the cup of salvation and calling on the name of the Lord, bet.
I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
I’ll pay my vows to the Lord right in front of all His crew, no doubt.
I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
The death of His saints is valuable to the Lord, straight-up.
Precious in the sight of the LORD {is} the death of his saints.
Yo Lord, I’m totally your servant; I’m your servant and the son of your handmaid: you’ve freed me from my bonds.
O LORD, truly I {am} thy servant; I {am} thy servant, {and} the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
I’m gonna bring you a thank-you offering and call on the name of the Lord.
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
I’ll fulfill my vows to the Lord now in front of all His crew, fr.
I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,
In the Lord's house courts, right in the heart of you, O Jerusalem. Praise the Lord, fam.
