Psalms Chapter 11
I'm vibing with the Lord, so why y'all telling me to dip like a bird to the hills?
[To the chief Musician, {A Psalm} of David.] In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee {as} a bird to your mountain?
Fr, the haters are ready to start beef, aiming their arrows at the solid peeps.
For, lo, the wicked bend {their} bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. {privily: Heb. in darkness}
If the whole foundation’s messed up, what’s the crew supposed to do?
If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
God literally went chillin' in His holy pad, throne in the clouds, peeping everything we do.
The LORD {is} in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne {is} in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
The Lord’s testing the righteous, but He ain’t about that savage life with the wicked and violent.
The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
For the bad guys, He’s throwing down traps, fire, and chaos; that’s their vibe check.
Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: {this shall be} the portion of their cup. {an horrible...: or, a burning tempest}
The just Lord is all about that good energy; He peeps the real ones.
For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
