Psalms Chapter 104
Yo, big up, my soul! The Lord my God is seriously lit; dripping with honor and majesty.
Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
You rock that light like it’s a fit; spreading out the skies like a comfy curtain.
Who coverest {thyself} with light as {with} a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
You set up your pad in the waters; clouds are your ride, and you vibe with the winds.
Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
You crafted your angels like vibes and your ministers are straight fire.
Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
You laid down the earth’s base, and it’s locked in for real, no cap.
{Who} laid the foundations of the earth, {that} it should not be removed for ever. {Who...: Heb. He hath founded the earth upon her bases}
You wrapped it around with the deep like a cozy blanket; waters chillin’ over the mountains.
Thou coveredst it with the deep as {with} a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
At your command, they bounced; your thunder had them skrrting away.
At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
They scale the mountains; they dive down into the valleys to the spots you designed.
They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them. {They go up...: or, The mountains ascend, the valleys descend}
You set the boundaries so they can’t cross; they can't come back to cover the ground again.
Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
You send the springs into the valleys, flowing through the hills like it’s all vibes.
He sendeth the springs into the valleys, {which} run among the hills. {He: Heb. Who} {run: Heb. walk}
They quench the thirst of every beast in the field: even the wild donkeys are vibing with satisfied thirst.
They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst. {quench: Heb. break}
The birds up high got their chill zones, singing it out among the branches, fr.
By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, {which} sing among the branches. {sing: Heb. give a voice}
He waters the hills from his pad: the earth enjoys the fruit of your works.
He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
He makes the grass pop for the cattle, and herbs for the homies: bringing food straight from the ground, no cap.
He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
And wine that vibes the heart, oil to make your face glow, and bread that lifts man's spirit, for real.
And wine {that} maketh glad the heart of man, {and} oil to make {his} face to shine, and bread {which} strengtheneth man's heart. {oil...: Heb. to make his face shine with oil, or, more than oil}
The trees of the Lord are full of that good juice; the cedars of Lebanon, which He planted, are goated.
The trees of the LORD are full {of sap}; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
Where the birds build their homes: the stork claims the fir trees as her crib, savage vibes.
Where the birds make their nests: {as for} the stork, the fir trees {are} her house.
The high hills are a safe haven for the wild goats; and the rocks are the conies’ home, no cap.
The high hills {are} a refuge for the wild goats; {and} the rocks for the conies.
He set the moon for the seasons: the sun knows when to dip, fr.
He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
You make it dark, and it’s night: that’s when all the forest creatures come out, lit.
Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep {forth}. {beasts...: Heb. beasts thereof do trample on the forest}
The young lions are out here roaring for grub, looking to God for that feed.
The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.
When the sun rises, they all relax and crash in their spots.
The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.
Humans be hustling all day, grinding hard until the sun goes down.
Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
Yo Lord, your creations are hella diverse! You crafted everything with wisdom; the earth is stacked with your treasures.
O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
And that ocean? It's massive, full of all kinds of creatures, big and small, just vibing.
{So is} this great and wide sea, wherein {are} things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
Peep the ships cruising, and there's that leviathan you made to just chill in the waves.
There go the ships: {there is} that leviathan, {whom} thou hast made to play therein. {made: Heb. formed}
They all rely on you, waiting for their food at the right moment.
These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give {them} their meat in due season.
What you give them, they scoop up; you open your hand, and they're truly blessed.
{That} thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
When you look away, they stress; you take their breath, and they vanish, back to dust.
Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
You send out your spirit, and they spring to life; you refresh the whole earth’s vibe.
Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
The glory of the Lord is forever vibes: He’s out here loving His creations, for real.
The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works. {endure: Heb. be}
He peeks at the earth, and it’s lowkey shaking: He touches the hills, and they start smoking, no cap.
He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
I’m gonna sing to the Lord as long as I’m alive: Gonna dish out mad praise to my God while I’m here, periodt.
I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
My thoughts of Him are pure sweetness: I’m just vibing in the Lord.
My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.
Let the sinners bounce from the earth, and the wicked just disappear. Big up, my soul. Praise the Lord!
Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
