Nehemiah Chapter 11
So the leaders were just chilling in Jerusalem, while the rest of the crew rolled some dice to figure out who'd be repping in the holy city, and the other nine heads dipped to various spots.
And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts {to dwell} in {other} cities.
The people were all about the ones who were down to set up in Jerusalem, giving mad props.
And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
These are the main players in the region hanging in Jerusalem: everyone else in Judah was just vibing in their own areas, including the priests, Levites, and Solomon's squad.
Now these {are} the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, {to wit}, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants.
In Jerusalem, some of the kids from Judah and Benjamin were representing. Judah’s fam consists of Athaiah, son of Uzziah, and their whole line of dope ancestors.
And at Jerusalem dwelt {certain} of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez; {Perez: also called, Pharez}
Maaseiah, son of Baruch, and his entire family were also in the mix, showing off their heritage.
And Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Colhozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.
All the homies from Perez hanging in Jerusalem were a solid 468 legendary warriors.
All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem {were} four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.
And here’s the Benjamin gang: Sallu, son of Meshullam, and his whole family tree loaded with charisma.
And these {are} the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jesaiah.
Then you had Gabbai and Sallai, rolling with a total of 928 folks.
And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.
Joel, son of Zichri, was in charge, and Judah, son of Senuah, was his main guy in the city.
And Joel the son of Zichri {was} their overseer: and Judah the son of Senuah {was} second over the city.
For the priests, you had Jedaiah, son of Joiarib, and Jachin, keeping it sacred.
Of the priests: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jachin.
Seraiah, the son of Hilkiah, was the head honcho of God’s house, no cap.
Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, {was} the ruler of the house of God.
Their crew doing the temple work was 822 strong, and Adaiah, son of Jeroham, was also in the mix, lit fam.
And their brethren that did the work of the house {were} eight hundred twenty and two: and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchiah,
His crew, the top dads, numbered 242, and Amashai, son of Azareel, was flexing in there.
And his brethren, chief of the fathers, two hundred forty and two: and Amashai the son of Azareel, the son of Ahasai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,
Their squad, the real MVPs, were 128, with Zabdiel managing the whole vibe.
And their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer {was} Zabdiel, the son of {one of} the great men. {the son...: or, the son of Haggedolim}
Also, the Levites were represented: Shemaiah, son of Hashub, was part of the crew, fr.
Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hashub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;
Shabbethai and Jozabad, the Levite heads, were handling the outside affairs of God’s crib, periodt.
And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites, {had} the oversight of the outward business of the house of God. {had...: Heb. were over}
Mattaniah, son of Micha, was the main dude for starting the prayer vibes, with Bakbukiah and Abda backing him up.
And Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, {was} the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.
All the Levites in the holy city were 284, just vibing.
All the Levites in the holy city {were} two hundred fourscore and four.
And the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their crew, were 172 strong, keeping it safe.
Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, {were} an hundred seventy and two. {the gates: Heb. at the gates}
The rest of Israel, including priests and Levites, were spread across the cities of Judah, each with their own spot, no cap.
And the residue of Israel, of the priests, {and} the Levites, {were} in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.
The Nethinims were hanging out in Ophel, with Ziha and Gispa overseeing them.
But the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gispa {were} over the Nethinims. {Ophel: or, the tower}
Uzzi, son of Bani, was the Levite boss in Jerusalem, and he was all about that house of God lifestyle with the Asaph crew.
The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem {was} Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers {were} over the business of the house of God.
The king was like, 'Yo, make sure the singers get their daily goods,' and everyone was like, 'Bet.'
For {it was} the king's commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day. {a certain...: or, a sure ordinance}
Pethahiah, son of Meshezabeel from Judah’s fam, was the king's right-hand guy for all the people stuff.
And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, {was} at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people. {Zerah: also called, Zarah}
Some of Judah’s kids were chilling at Kirjath-arba and the nearby spots, plus Dibon and Jekabzeel, repping their hometowns.
And for the villages, with their fields, {some} of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjatharba, and {in} the villages thereof, and at Dibon, and {in} the villages thereof, and at Jekabzeel, and {in} the villages thereof,
They also held it down at Jeshua, Moladah, and Beth-phelet, no cap.
And at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Bethphelet,
Hazar-shual and Beer-sheba were on the map, along with their villages, popping off.
And at Hazarshual, and at Beersheba, and {in} the villages thereof,
Ziklag and Mekonah were lit too, with their own villages, keeping it real.
And at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages thereof,
En-rimmon, Zareah, and Jarmuth were in the mix, no doubt.
And at Enrimmon, and at Zareah, and at Jarmuth,
Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish, and Azekah were all part of the crew, stretching from Beer-sheba to the Hinnom valley.
Zanoah, Adullam, and {in} their villages, at Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and {in} the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Beersheba unto the valley of Hinnom.
The kids from Benjamin who were vibing in Geba were also posted up at Michmash, Aija, Beth-el, and their own spots, no cap.
The children also of Benjamin from Geba {dwelt} at Michmash, and Aija, and Bethel, and {in} their villages, {from: or, of} {at: or, to}
And they were hanging out at Anathoth, Nob, and Ananiah, fr.
{And} at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
Hazor, Ramah, and Gittaim were also on the map, just vibing.
Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
Hadid, Zeboim, and Neballat were in the mix too, lit.
Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
Lod and Ono? Yeah, that’s where the craft squad was repping hard in the valley.

The Levites had their groups split between Judah and Benjamin, pop off!
And of the Levites {were} divisions {in} Judah, {and} in Benjamin.
