Micah Chapter 1
So the word from the Lord comes to Micah the Morasthite during the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and he peeped some crazy things about Samaria and Jerusalem.
The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, {and} Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
For real, everyone listen up; even you, earth: let the Lord God be the ultimate witness against you, coming straight from His holy spot.
Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. {all ye...: Heb. ye people, all of them} {all that...: Heb. the fulness thereof}
God literally is stepping out of His place, about to come down and vibe on the high places of the earth.
For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
The mountains are gonna turn to liquid under Him, and the valleys are gonna split like wax in the fire, just like water rolling down a steep hill.
And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, {and} as the waters {that are} poured down a steep place. {a steep...: Heb. a descent}
All this is due to Jacob’s screw-ups and the sins of Israel. What’s Jacob’s mess? Isn’t it Samaria? And those high places of Judah? Aren't they Jerusalem?
For the transgression of Jacob {is} all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What {is} the transgression of Jacob? {is it} not Samaria? and what {are} the high places of Judah? {are they} not Jerusalem?
I'm about to transform Samaria into a pile of fields and vineyard vibes; I’ll toss the stones into the valley and lay bare the foundations.
Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, {and} as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
All those carved images gonna be demolished, their cash flow gonna go up in flames, and all the idols gonna get wrecked: she copped them with a harlot’s pay, and they’ll return to that.
And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered {it} of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
So I’m gonna wail and howl, going stripped and bare: my mourning gonna sound like dragons and owls out here.
Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls. {owls: Heb. daughters of the owl}
Her wound is legit unhealable; it’s hit Judah; he’s come to the gate of my people, even Jerusalem.
For her wound {is} incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, {even} to Jerusalem. {her...: or, she is grievously sick of her wounds}
Don’t spill the tea at Gath, no tears allowed: in Aphrah, roll around in the dirt.
Declare ye {it} not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust. {Aphrah: that is, Dust}
Yo, Saphir fam, with your shame on blast: Zaanan didn’t show for the mourning of Beth-ezel; he’s getting what’s coming to you.

The Maroth crew was hoping for good vibes, but evil rolled in from the Lord at the gate of Jerusalem.
For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem. {inhabitant: Heb. inhabitress} {waited...: or, was grieved}
Yo, Lachish crew, hitch that chariot to the speedy beast: she’s the start of the sin for Zion’s daughter; Israel’s mess-ups were found in you.
O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she {is} the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee. {inhabitant: Heb. inhabitress}
So you gotta send gifts to Moresheth-gath: the houses of Achzib gonna be a total lie to Israel's kings.

But I’ll still bring an heir to you, Mareshah peeps: he’s gonna roll into Adullam, the glory of Israel.

Go bald and mourn for your fancy kids; let that baldness fly like an eagle; they’ve been taken away from you.
Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.
