Leviticus Chapter 3
So if you’re bringing a peace offering, it can come from the herd; just make sure it’s flawless, for real, and present it to the Lord.
And if his oblation {be} a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer {it} of the herd; whether {it be} a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.
He’s gotta place his hand on the offering’s head and then bring it out to the tabernacle door; Aaron’s sons, the priests, will splatter the blood all around the altar.
And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it {at} the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
He’s serving up a fire offering to the Lord from the peace offering; scoop up the fat that covers the insides and all that solid stuff.
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that {is} upon the inwards, {fat: or, suet}
Also, grab the two kidneys and the fat on them, which is near the sides, and the membrane above the liver; that’s gotta go.
And the two kidneys, and the fat that {is} on them, which {is} by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away. {caul...: or, midriff over the liver, and over the kidneys}
Aaron’s sons will grill it on the altar with the burnt sacrifice on the wood in the flames; it’s a fire offering with a sweet vibe for the Lord.
And Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which {is} upon the wood that {is} on the fire: {it is} an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
If you’re bringing a peace offering from the flock, male or female, it better be without flaws, for real.
And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD {be} of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.
If it’s a lamb, then it’s gotta be shown before the Lord.
If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the LORD.
He’ll lay his hand on its head and take it out in front of the tabernacle; then Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood all around the altar.
And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.
He’ll offer up a fire offering to the Lord from the peace offering; chop off the fat and the whole back end, plus the fat covering the insides.
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, {and} the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that {is} upon the inwards,
And the two kidneys, and the fat on them by the sides, and the membrane above the liver, plus the kidneys, that’s gotta go too.
And the two kidneys, and the fat that {is} upon them, which {is} by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.
The priest will burn it on the altar; it’s the food of the fire offering for the Lord.
And the priest shall burn it upon the altar: {it is} the food of the offering made by fire unto the LORD.
If it’s a goat for the offering, bring it before the Lord.
And if his offering {be} a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD.
He’ll put his hand on its head and take it out in front of the tabernacle; Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood all around the altar.
And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.
He’ll offer up a fire offering to the Lord; grab the fat covering the insides and all the fat that’s on the insides.
And he shall offer thereof his offering, {even} an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that {is} upon the inwards,
And the two kidneys, and the fat on them by the sides, and the membrane above the liver, with the kidneys, that’s gotta go.
And the two kidneys, and the fat that {is} upon them, which {is} by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.
The priest will burn them on the altar; it’s the food of the fire offering for a sweet vibe: all the fat belongs to the Lord.
And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: {it is} the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat {is} the LORD'S.
This is a forever rule for your fams wherever you chill: no munching on fat or blood, periodt.
{It shall be} a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.
