Galatians Chapter 3
Ayo, dumb Galatians, who cast a spell on y'all? You’re not connecting with the truth, and Jesus was right there, crucified right in front of you.
O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
So like, did you get the Spirit from following the law grind or just by catching the faith vibes?
This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Are you really that lost? You kicked things off with the Spirit, and now you think you can level up with the flesh?
Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Did you go through all this just to be left out? Like, was it even worth it?
Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if {it be} yet in vain. {so many: or, so great}
So the one who gives you the Spirit and pulls off miracles, is he doing it through the law grind or just by faith hearing?
He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, {doeth he it} by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Just like Abraham trusted God, and that got him into the righteous squad.
Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. {accounted: or, imputed}
So peep this: if you’ve got faith, you’re basically part of Abraham's fam.
Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
And the scripture knew God would drop blessings on the non-Jews through faith, telling Abraham, "All nations gonna be blessed through you."
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, {saying}, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
So if you’re living that faith life, you’re blessed just like our guy Abraham.
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
For real, everyone under the law is cursed; it’s written: cursed is anyone who doesn’t follow every detail in the law book.
For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed {is} every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
No cap, nobody gets right with God through the law, it’s obvious: the real ones live by faith, periodt.
But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, {it is} evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
The law ain't about faith, fam: if you vibe with it, you live by it.
And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
Christ came through and freed us from the curse of the law, taking that hit for us: it’s written, “Cursed is anyone who’s hanging on a tree.”
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed {is} every one that hangeth on a tree:
So the blessing of Abraham can hit the Gentiles through Jesus, so we can grab the Spirit’s promise by faith.
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Yo, I’m talking like a normal person here; a dude’s agreement is legit, and once it’s made, nobody can cancel or change it, fr.
Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though {it be} but a man's covenant, yet {if it be} confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. {covenant: or, testament}
The promises were made to Abraham and his crew. It’s not about “seeds” like a whole squad, but just one, and that’s Christ.
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
I’m saying this: the covenant God locked in with Christ can’t be undone by the law that rolled in 430 years later, no cap.
And this I say, {that} the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
If the inheritance comes through the law, it ain't a promise anymore: God gave it to Abraham straight up as a promise.
For if the inheritance {be} of the law, {it is} no more of promise: but God gave {it} to Abraham by promise.
So what’s the purpose of the law? It was added because of mess-ups until the seed showed up that the promise was for; it was given by angels through a mediator.
Wherefore then {serveth} the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; {and it was} ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
A mediator ain’t just for one person, but God’s one and only.
Now a mediator is not {a mediator} of one, but God is one.
Is the law against God's promises? Nah fam, if the law could give life, then righteousness would be straight from the law.
{Is} the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
But the scripture says we’re all under sin, so the promise through faith in Jesus is for those who believe, no cap.
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
Before faith arrived, we were trapped under the law, waiting for the faith that would show up later.
But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
So the law was like our teacher, guiding us to Christ so we could be justified by faith, fr.
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster {to bring us} unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
But now that faith is here, we ain’t under that teacher anymore.
But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
For all y’all are kids of God through faith in Christ Jesus, periodt.
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
If you’ve been baptized into Christ, you’ve put on Christ, that's lit.
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
There’s no Jew or Greek, no slave or free, no male or female: we’re all one in Christ Jesus, vibe check.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
And if you’re Christ's, then you’re Abraham’s crew and heirs to the promise, straight up.
And if ye {be} Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
