Ezekiel Chapter 39
Ayo, son of man, spill the tea about Gog, saying what the Lord God said: "I’m totally against you, Gog, the chief of Meshech and Tubal, no cap."
Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I {am} against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
I’m about to turn you around, leaving just a smidge of you, and I’ll pull you up from the north, straight to the mountains of Israel.
And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: {leave...: or, strike thee with six plagues: or, draw thee back with an hook of six teeth} {the north...: Heb. the sides of the north}
I’ll snatch your bow from your left hand, and your arrows will drop from your right hand, for real.
And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
You and your squad are gonna drop on the mountains of Israel, and the wild birds and beasts will chow down on you, periodt.
Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that {is} with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and {to} the beasts of the field to be devoured. {sort: Heb. wing} {to be...: Heb. to devour}
You’ll hit the open field, ‘cause I said so, says the Lord God.
Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken {it}, saith the Lord GOD. {the open...: Heb. the face of the field}
I’m sending flames to Magog and those chilling in the isles, and they’ll know I’m the Lord, fr.
And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I {am} the LORD. {carelessly: or, confidently}
I’ll make my holy name known among my peeps in Israel; they won’t mess with my name anymore, and the nations will see I’m the Lord, the Holy One in Israel.
So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not {let them} pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I {am} the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
Yo, it’s going down and it’s all set, says the Lord God; this is the day I’ve been talking about.
Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this {is} the day whereof I have spoken.
The people in the cities of Israel will step out, light up and burn all the weapons—shields, bucklers, bows, arrows, and spears—for seven years, it’s gonna be a whole vibe.
And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: {handstaves: or, javelins} {burn them...: or, make a fire of them}
No need to grab wood from the fields or chop down trees, ‘cause they’ll be burning the weapons, and they’ll reclaim what was taken from them, says the Lord God.
So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down {any} out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
So on that day, I’m giving Gog a chill spot for graves in Israel, like a whole vibe in the valley by the sea: it’s gonna be a no-go for the travelers, and they’ll bury Gog and his crew there, calling it The valley of Hamon-gog.
And it shall come to pass in that day, {that} I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the {noses} of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call {it} The valley of Hamongog. {noses: or, mouths} {Hamongog: that is, The multitude of Gog}
For seven months, the house of Israel is gonna be busy burying them to cleanse the land, no cap.
And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.
Everyone in the land will be burying them; it’ll be a major thing the day I get my glory, says the Lord God, periodt.
Yea, all the people of the land shall bury {them}; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
They’ll choose some guys to work full-time, scouring the land to bury with the travelers those still chilling on the earth, cleaning it up: after seven months, they’ll start searching.
And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. {men...: Heb. men of continuance}
And when the travelers spot a bone, they’ll mark it until the buriers handle it in the valley of Hamon-gog, fr.
And the passengers {that} pass through the land, when {any} seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog. {set up: Heb. build}
Also, the city’s name is gonna be Hamonah. That’s how they clean the land, lit.
And also the name of the city {shall be} Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land. {Hamonah: that is, The multitude}
And yo, son of man, the Lord God says: Tell every bird and beast out there, pull up and gather for my sacrifice that I’m throwing down for you, a major feast on the mountains of Israel, where you can feast on meat and sip blood.
And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, {even} a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. {unto...: Heb. to the fowl of every wing} {my sacrifice: or, my slaughter}
You’re gonna chow down on the flesh of the strong and drink the blood of the earth's princes, of rams, lambs, goats, and bulls, all the fat ones from Bashan, no cap.
Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. {goats: Heb. great goats}
You’ll be stuffed at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men and all the warriors, says the Lord God, bet.
And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
That’s how you’ll be filled at my table, with all the good stuff, periodt.
Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
I'm gonna flex my glory to the nations, and they’re gonna see my moves and how I dropped the hammer on them.
And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
So the fam of Israel will know I'm the Lord their God, starting now and forever.
So the house of Israel shall know that I {am} the LORD their God from that day and forward.
And the nations will see that Israel got taken captive for their mistakes; they messed with me, so I ghosted them and let their enemies handle it, and they all fell by the sword.
And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
I dealt with them based on their mess-ups and hid my face from them.
According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.
So here’s the deal from the Lord God; I’m bringing Jacob back from captivity and showing love to all of Israel, 'cause I’m protective of my holy name.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
After they’ve felt the weight of their shame and all the wrongs they did while chilling safely in their land, with no one scaring them.
After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made {them} afraid.
When I bring them back from the nations and gather them from their enemies’ lands, I’ll be lit in their presence in front of many nations.
When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
Then they'll know I'm the Lord their God who made them go into captivity among the nations, but I’ve brought them back to their own land, leaving none behind.
Then shall they know that I {am} the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there. {which...: Heb. by my causing of them, etc}
I won’t hide my face from them anymore, 'cause I’ve poured out my spirit on the house of Israel, says the Lord God.
Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
