Ezekiel Chapter 1
So, it was the thirtieth year, fourth month, fifth day, and I was just vibing by the river Chebar with the crew, and then outta nowhere, the skies opened up and I peeped some dope visions of God.
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth {month}, in the fifth {day} of the month, as I {was} among the captives by the river of Chebar, {that} the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. {captives: Heb. captivity}
On the fifth day of the month, which marked the fifth year of King Jehoiachin's incarceration vibes,
In the fifth {day} of the month, which {was} the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,
The Lord hit up Ezekiel the priest, son of Buzi, while in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was totally on him.
The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him. {Ezekiel: Heb. Jehezkel}
I peeped, and suddenly, a whirlwind came through from the north, massive cloud with fire all wrapped up, shining bright, looking like amber in the flames.
And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness {was} about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire. {infolding...: Heb. catching itself}
Then from that fire popped out four living creatures, and they were looking kinda human.
Also out of the midst thereof {came} the likeness of four living creatures. And this {was} their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
Each of them sported four faces and four wings, no cap.
And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
Their feet were straight up like a human's, but the soles had this calf-like vibe and sparkled like fancy brass.
And their feet {were} straight feet; and the sole of their feet {was} like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass. {straight...: Heb. a straight foot}
They had hands like a human underneath their wings all around; each showed their faces and wings, all set up.
And {they had} the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.
Their wings were all connected; they didn’t even turn while moving, just went straight up, fr.
Their wings {were} joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
As for their faces, each sported a human face, a lion's head on the right, an ox face on the left, and also an eagle face.
As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
Their faces were vibin' and their wings stretched up, with two wings linked and two covering their bodies, no cap.
Thus {were} their faces: and their wings {were} stretched upward; two {wings} of every one {were} joined one to another, and two covered their bodies. {stretched...: or, divided above}
They just went straight up, wherever the spirit felt like going, no turns, just vibes.
And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; {and} they turned not when they went.
The living creatures looked like burning coals, lit like lamps, moving up and down, bright fire with lightning flashing.
As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance {was} like burning coals of fire, {and} like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
The living creatures were zipping back and forth like a lightning bolt, fr.
And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
I spotted a wheel hanging out on the ground next to the living creatures, and it had four faces, straight up.
Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.
The wheels looked like beryl, all matching, and it was like a wheel inside another wheel, bussin'.
The appearance of the wheels and their work {was} like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work {was} as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
They rolled on their four sides and didn’t even turn when they moved, savage.
When they went, they went upon their four sides: {and} they turned not when they went.
Their rims were super high and kinda eerie, packed with eyes all around, no cap.
As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings {were} full of eyes round about them four. {and their rings: or, and their strakes}
Whenever the living creatures shifted, the wheels shifted too; when they took off, the wheels lifted as well.
And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
Wherever the spirit wanted to go, they went, and the wheels lifted up with them, 'cause the spirit was in the wheels, periodt.
Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither {was their} spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature {was} in the wheels. {of...: or, of life}
When they moved, these moved; when they stood, these stood; and when they took off, the wheels were like, "We vibin' too," 'cause the spirit was in the wheels.
When those went, {these} went; and when those stood, {these} stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature {was} in the wheels. {of...: or, of life}
The vibe above their heads looked like some wild crystal, stretched out like a flex over them.
And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature {was} as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
Under that vibe, their wings were straight, one facing the other; each had two wings covering their bodies, no cap.
And under the firmament {were} their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.
When they moved, their wings made a sound like rushing waters, like the voice of the Almighty, straight fire; when they stood, they dropped their wings.
And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.
A voice came from above their heads while they stood and let their wings down, just chillin'.
And there was a voice from the firmament that {was} over their heads, when they stood, {and} had let down their wings.
Above them was a throne that looked like a sapphire stone, and on that throne was the vibe of a man, just chilling up there.
And above the firmament that {was} over their heads {was} the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne {was} the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
I saw this amber glow, looking like fire all around it, from the waist up and down, straight fire, with a bright glow surrounding it.
And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.
It was like a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, and the brightness around it was the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I was like, "Whoa," and I fell on my face, hearing a voice speaking.
As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so {was} the appearance of the brightness round about. This {was} the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw {it}, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
