Ecclesiastes Chapter 11
So, toss your bread on the waves, fam; you’ll scoop it up later, no cap.
Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. {upon...: Heb. upon the face of the waters}
Share with seven, maybe even eight; you never know what wild things might go down on Earth.
Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.
When the clouds get heavy, they drip rain on the ground; if a tree goes down, it’s where it lands, no lie.
If the clouds be full of rain, they empty {themselves} upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.
If you’re too caught up watching the wind, you won’t plant; if you’re all about the clouds, harvesting ain’t happening.
He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.
Just like you can’t peep how the spirit flows or how bones develop in a baby, you can’t figure out God’s game either.
As thou knowest not what {is} the way of the spirit, {nor} how the bones {do grow} in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
Sow your seeds in the AM and don’t sleep on it at night; you have no clue what’s gonna pop off, this or that, or if both will be fire.
In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both {shall be} alike good. {shall prosper: Heb. shall be right}
The light is super dope, and it’s a whole mood to catch the sun, fr.
Truly the light {is} sweet, and a pleasant {thing it is} for the eyes to behold the sun:
But if a homie lives a long life and enjoys it all, he should still keep in mind the dark times; there are plenty of those. Everything ahead can feel kinda pointless.
But if a man live many years, {and} rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that cometh {is} vanity.
Ayo, young one, savor your youth; let your heart ride with your days and go where your heart says, but remember, God’s peeping all that.
Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these {things} God will bring thee into judgment.
So, kick out the sadness from your heart and drop the bad vibes; childhood and youth are just a moment, fr.
Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth {are} vanity. {sorrow: or, anger}
