Daniel Chapter 10
During the third year of Cyrus, Persia's king, something major hit Daniel, aka Belteshazzar; it was completely legit, but the wait was a vibe: he caught the vision and got the whole situation.
In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing {was} true, but the time appointed {was} long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision. {long: Heb. great}
At that time, I, Daniel, was in my head for three full weeks.
In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. {full...: Heb. weeks of days}
I skipped any dope food, no meat or wine crossed my lips, and I didn’t even freshen up until those three weeks wrapped up.
I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. {pleasant...: Heb. bread of desires}
On the 24th day of the first month, I was by the massive river, Hiddekel, just chilling.
And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which {is} Hiddekel;
I peeped up and spotted a guy in linen, rocking some sick gold bling from Uphaz.
Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins {were} girded with fine gold of Uphaz: {a...: Heb. one man}
His body was like a glowing gem, his face shined bright like lightning, his eyes were like flaming lamps, and his arms and legs glimmered like polished brass; his voice was like a whole squad.
His body also {was} like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
Only I, Daniel, caught the vision; the homies with me were shook and dipped to hide.
And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
So, I was alone and caught this wild vision, but I felt drained: my vibe was off, and I had zero strength left.
Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. {comeliness: or, vigour}
When I heard his voice, I passed out, face to the ground.
Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
Then, a hand touched me, lifting me up to my knees and palms.
And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and {upon} the palms of my hands. {set: Heb. moved}
He was like, 'Yo, Daniel, you’re super loved, so get what I’m saying and stand up: I got you.' After he said that, I was trembling.
And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. {greatly...: Heb. of desires} {upright: Heb. upon thy standing}
He continued, 'No cap, Daniel: from the very first day you wanted to get it and humble yourself before God, your words were heard, and I came for you.'
Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
But the prince of Persia held me down for 21 days; then Michael, one of the top angels, showed up to back me, and I was chilling with the kings of Persia.
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. {chief: or, first}
Now, I’m here to drop the details on what’s about to go down for your people in the end times: the vision’s for a minute.
Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision {is} for {many} days.
After he said that, I looked down and was left speechless.
And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
Then, a dude who looked human touched my lips; I opened my mouth and told him, 'Yo, my lord, this vision has me all in my feels, and I’m out of strength.'
And, behold, {one} like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
How am I supposed to chat with you, my lord? I’m seriously weak, and there’s no air left in me.
For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. {the...: or, this servant of my lord}
Then, someone like a man came back and gave me some strength.
Then there came again and touched me {one} like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
He said, 'Yo, greatly loved dude, don’t trip: peace to you, be strong, for real, be strong.' After he said that, I felt boosted and said, 'Let my lord speak; you’ve powered me up.'
And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace {be} unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
Then he asked, 'You know why I came to you? Now I got to bounce and fight the prince of Persia: when I dip, the prince of Grecia is rolling in.'
Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
But I’ll show you what’s laid out in the truth scroll: only Michael, your prince, has my back in this.
But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and {there is} none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince. {holdeth: Heb. strengtheneth himself}
