Colossians Chapter 3
So, if you’ve been raised with Christ, go after those heavenly vibes where Christ is vibing with God, periodt.
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Focus your heart on heavenly things, not on earthly nonsense, no cap.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. {affection: or, mind}
You’ve left that old life behind, and your real vibes are hidden with Christ in God, fr.
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
When Christ, who is our ultimate vibe, shows up, you’ll roll out with him in glory.
When Christ, {who is} our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
So, eliminate those earthly vibes; fornication, dirtiness, and all that sus stuff is a hard pass.
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
Because of these vibes, God’s anger hits the disobedient ones, no cap.
For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
You used to roll with that stuff when you lived it, but that’s in the past.
In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
Now, drop all that; anger, rage, and all that toxic chatter gotta vanish.
But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Don’t be lying to each other; you’ve ditched the old self and its whack vibes.
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
And put on the new self, refreshed and vibing with knowledge of the Creator, bet.
And have put on the new {man}, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
There’s no distinction between Greek or Jew, just vibes; Christ is everything and in everyone.
Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond {nor} free: but Christ {is} all, and in all.
So, throw on the good stuff; compassion, kindness, and humility, it’s lit.
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Be patient with each other and forgive one another, just like Christ forgave you, for real.
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also {do} ye. {quarrel: or, complaint}
And most importantly, wear love, that’s the ultimate bond, it slaps.
And above all these things {put on} charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Allow God’s peace to rule your hearts; you’re called to this as one body, so show gratitude.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Let Christ’s message chill in you with wisdom; teach and vibe together with songs and hymns, fr.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Whatever you do, do it in the name of Jesus, giving thanks to God, no cap.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, {do} all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Wives, submit to your husbands; it’s a whole vibe in the Lord.
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives and don’t get bitter, that’s just savage.
Husbands, love {your} wives, and be not bitter against them.
Kids, obey your parents in everything; it’s what pleases the Lord, periodt.
Children, obey {your} parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
Dads, don’t provoke your kids to anger; keep the vibes chill.
Fathers, provoke not your children {to anger}, lest they be discouraged.
Servants, submit to your bosses; don’t just do it for show, but keep it real.
Servants, obey in all things {your} masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
Whatever you tackle, do it with all your heart for the Lord, not for people.
And whatsoever ye do, do {it} heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Knowing that you’ll receive the reward from the Lord; you’re serving Christ, fr.
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
But if you slip up, you’ll face the consequences; God doesn’t play favorites, no cap.
But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
