2 Timothy Chapter 1
So Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, 'cause God said so, is bringing that promise of life in Christ Jesus, fr.
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
To my guy Timothy, my cherished son: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and our homie Christ Jesus.
To Timothy, {my} dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, {and} peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
I give thanks to God, who I serve with genuine vibes from my fam, always sending prayers your way night and day, no cap.
I thank God, whom I serve from {my} forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
Can’t wait to link up, thinking about your tears; it’s gonna spark so much joy for me, periodt.
Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy; {Greatly...: or, remembering thy tears, I greatly desire to see thee that}
I peep your real faith, first seen in your grandma Lois and your mom Eunice; I know you inherited that too, bet.
When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
So I’m here to remind you to keep fanning those flames of that gift from God, which I gave you when I laid hands on you.
Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
God ain't dropped a spirit of fear on us, but gave us power, love, and a sound mind, that’s lit.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Don’t be shy about our Lord’s testimony or about me being locked up; stand strong for the struggles of the gospel, that’s the rizz.
Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
He saved us and called us with a holy calling, not on the basis of our actions, but for His purpose and grace given in Christ before time, no cap.
Who hath saved us, and called {us} with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
Now it’s all clear through our Savior Jesus Christ, who wrecked death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, it’s bussin.
But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
I’m set up as a preacher, apostle, and teacher for the Gentiles, that’s the vibe.
Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
Because of that, I’m facing struggles, but I ain’t ashamed; I know who I trust, and I believe He’s got my back, periodt.
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. {believed: or, trusted}
Stay true to the solid words you heard from me, in faith and love that’s in Christ Jesus.
Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
Guard that solid thing committed to you by the Holy Ghost that’s living in us, it’s goated.
That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.
You know that everyone in Asia dipped on me; shoutout to Phygellus and Hermogenes, sus.
This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
The Lord bless the crib of Onesiphorus; he always lifted me up and didn’t sweat my chains, that’s real.
The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:
When he was in Rome, he searched for me hard and found me, that’s commitment.
But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found {me}.
The Lord grant him mercy on that day; you know how much he came through for me in Ephesus, fr.
The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.
