2 Thessalonians Chapter 2
Ayo fam, we’re reaching out about the comeback of our guy Jesus Christ, and the squad's energy when we link up with him.
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and {by} our gathering together unto him, {unto him: or, around him}
Don’t let yourself get rattled or anxious, no cap, whether it's a vibe, a message, or a text from us; the day of Christ is rolling in fast.
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Nobody should fool you, fam: that day ain't gonna hit until there’s a huge drop-off first, and the dude all about sin makes his entrance, the son of destruction.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for {that day shall not come}, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
This dude is out here flexing hard, acting like he’s above everything called God or anything that gets worshiped; he’s parked in God’s temple like he’s the main act.
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
You don’t recall when I was hanging with you, I dropped these facts?
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
And now you’re aware of what’s holding things up so he can show up at just the right moment.
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. {withholdeth: or, holdeth}
The enigma of wickedness is already in play, and only the one who’s keeping it steady will chill until he’s removed from the scene.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth {will let}, until he be taken out of the way.
Then the evil one will make his move, and the Lord will take him down with the breath of his mouth and light up everything with his epic comeback.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
This dude’s coming at you with the power of Satan, bringing all sorts of signs and fake miracles, no cap.
{Even him}, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all the sneaky deceptions of unrighteousness for those who are about to be lost; they didn’t vibe with the truth, so salvation was out of their reach.
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
Because of this, God’s gonna send them some serious delusion so they fall for the lie.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
So they’ll be completely lost who didn’t vibe with the truth but were all in for the wrong things.
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
But we gotta show gratitude always to God for you, beloved squad of the Lord, since God chose you from the start for salvation through the Spirit’s glow-up and belief in the truth.
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
He called you through our gospel to claim the glory of our dude Jesus Christ.
Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
So, fam, stay strong and hold onto the traditions you’ve learned, whether through our words or letters.
Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
Now, our dude Jesus Christ himself, and God, our Father, who’s always shown us love and blessed us with eternal comfort and solid vibes through grace,
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given {us} everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
Chill and let your hearts find comfort, and get grounded in every good word and deed.
Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
