2 Thessalonians Chapter 1
So it’s Paul, Silvanus, and Timotheus just vibing with the church in Thessalonica, all thanks to God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, no cap.
Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
For real, grace and peace are sent your way from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, periodt.
Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We always gotta give props to God for you, fam, 'cause your faith is leveling up and the love you all share is straight bussin'.
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
We flex on y’all in God’s churches for your patience and faith as you tackle all that savage stuff.
So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
This proves God’s righteous judgment, so you can be seen as worthy of His kingdom, which you’re grinding for, fr.
{Which is} a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
God’s got your back, and it’s solid to dish out payback to those who are sus to you.
Seeing {it is} a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
To you struggling, chill with us when the Lord Jesus makes His entrance from heaven with His mighty angels, bet.
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, {his...: Gr. the angels of his power}
He’s rolling in with flaming fire to serve up some straight-up vengeance on those who don’t know God and ignore the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, no cap.
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: {taking: or, yielding}
They’re about to face eternal destruction, completely cut off from the presence of the Lord and His glory, fr.
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
When He comes to be glorified in His saints and admired by all who believe ('cause our testimony was fire among you) on that day.
When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
So we’re always praying for you that our God would make you worthy of this calling and fulfill all the good vibes of His goodness along with the work of faith powered up, periodt.
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of {this} calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of {his} goodness, and the work of faith with power: {count: or, vouchsafe}
So that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ receives all the glory in you, and you in Him, through the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ, no cap.
That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
