2 Corinthians Chapter 9
When it comes to supporting the saints, I don’t even need to elaborate, you already feel the vibes.
For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
I peep your rizz, and I flex about you to the Macedonians, 'cause Achaia was on deck last year; your hype has motivated so many.
For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.
So I sent some homies ahead, 'cause I don’t want our bragging about you to fall flat; just making sure you’re good to go, fam.
Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:
If the Macedonians show up with me and find you unprepared, we might feel a bit sus about our confidence.
Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.
So I thought it was wise to have the homies reach out to you first, to get your generosity ready, 'cause you knew it was coming, no cap.
Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as {a matter of} bounty, and not as {of} covetousness. {bounty: Gr. blessing} {whereof...: or, which hath been so much spoken of before}
Just a heads up, if you plant little, you’ll harvest little; but if you go hard, you’ll be blessed big time.
But this {I say}, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
Every person should give what they feel in their heart, not out of pressure; God vibes with a cheerful giver, periodt.
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, {so let him give}; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
And God can totally bless you with all the grace, so you’ll have everything you need for every good deed, fr.
And God {is} able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all {things}, may abound to every good work:
(It’s written, he spreads the love; he provides for the needy: his good vibes last forever.)
(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.
The one who gives seed to the sower also provides you bread for your meals and boosts your harvest, no cap.
Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for {your} food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
You’re blessed in every way so you can share generously, which leads to mad thanks to God.
Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. {bountifulness: or, liberality: Gr. simplicity}
This service not only meets the needs of the saints but also brings a ton of gratitude to God, lit.
For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
As they experience this service, they glorify God for your commitment to the gospel and your generosity to everyone.
Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for {your} liberal distribution unto them, and unto all {men};
And they’re praying for you, missing you for the crazy grace of God in your life.
And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.
Big shoutout to God for his incredible gift, it’s truly one of a kind.
Thanks {be} unto God for his unspeakable gift.
