3
Gen Z Vibe

They couldn’t make it happen earlier because the priests were unprepared, and the people hadn’t shown up in Jerusalem, fr.

Original Source

For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.

4
Gen Z Vibe

The whole situation had the king and the crew hyped, like, "This is fire."

Original Source

And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation. {pleased...: Heb. was right in the eyes of the king}

Gen Z Vibe

Don’t be like your pops and bros who messed up with the Lord and got wrecked, just saying.

Original Source

And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, {who} therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.

8
Gen Z Vibe

Don’t be stubborn like your ancestors; just chill and surrender to the Lord, step into His sanctuary, and serve Him so His anger can ease up.

Original Source

Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers {were, but} yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you. {be ye...: Heb. harden not your necks} {yield...: Heb. give the hand}

9
Gen Z Vibe

If you return to the Lord, your fam and kids will find mercy from their captors, and they will come back to this land, 'cause the Lord your God is mad gracious and won’t turn you away if you turn back to Him.

Original Source

For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children {shall find} compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God {is} gracious and merciful, and will not turn away {his} face from you, if ye return unto him.

The messengers journeyed city to city through Ephraim and Manasseh all the way to Zebulun, but they were like, "Nah," and laughed at them, super sus.

So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.

18

Lots of peeps, including many from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, hadn’t cleaned up, but they still ate the Passover, which was a bit off-script. Hezekiah was like, "Yo, God, please forgive them."

Original Source

For a multitude of the people, {even} many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one
