1 Timothy Chapter 6
If you’re under the yoke, show your bosses major respect so God’s name stays lit and the vibes stay solid.
Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and {his} doctrine be not blasphemed.
If your boss is a believer, don’t sleep on them; they’re fam; serve them right 'cause they’re goated and got your back. Teach this, for real.
And they that have believing masters, let them not despise {them}, because they are brethren; but rather do {them} service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort. {faithful: or, believing}
If anyone’s spreading sus teachings and isn’t vibing with the wholesome words of Jesus, they’re totally missing the point, no cap.
If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, {even} the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
They’re just arrogant and lost, getting wrapped up in drama and disputes, which only brings envy and chaos.
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, {proud: or, a fool} {doting: or, sick}
Those shady debates from corrupt minds think cash equals godliness; you gotta dip from that energy, fam.
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. {Perverse...: or, Gallings one of another}
But godliness mixed with contentment? That’s the real glow-up, no doubt.
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
We came into this world with nada, and we can’t take anything when we dip, periodt.
For we brought nothing into {this} world, {and it is} certain we can carry nothing out.
So if we got food and clothes, let’s vibe with that.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
But if you’re out here chasing riches, you’re setting yourself up for temptation and a whole lotta pain.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and {into} many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
The love of money? That’s the root of all drama; some have chased it and strayed from the faith, feeling mad sorrow.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. {erred: or, been seduced}
But you, man of God, bounce from that; chase righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and chill vibes.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
Fight the good fight of faith, hold onto eternal life, 'cause that’s your calling, and you've made a solid confession in front of folks.
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
I’m giving you this charge in God’s sight, who brings everything to life, and before Jesus, who kept it real in front of Pilate.
I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and {before} Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; {confession: or, profession}
Keep this commandment clean and unshakeable until our Lord Jesus pops off.
That thou keep {this} commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
In His time, He’ll reveal who’s the blessed and only King, the GOAT of kings and Lord of lords.
Which in his times he shall shew, {who is} the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
He’s the only one with immortality, chilling in light that no one can touch or see; to Him be all the honor and power forever.
Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom {be} honour and power everlasting. Amen.
Tell the rich not to be all high and mighty or rely on shaky riches, but on the living God, who blesses us with all the good stuff.
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; {uncertain...: Gr. uncertainty of riches}
They should do good, be rich in good vibes, be ready to share, and keep it real.
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; {willing...: or, sociable}
Stacking up a solid foundation for the future so they can grab onto eternal life.
Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
Yo Timothy, guard what’s been entrusted to you, avoid the empty chatter, and the fake science vibes.
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane {and} vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: {science: Gr. knowledge}
Some have messed up their faith by chasing that stuff. Grace be with you. Amen. This letter to Timothy was dropped from Laodicea, the main city of Phrygia Pacatiana.
Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace {be} with thee. Amen. «{The first to Timothy was written from Laodicea, which is the chiefest city of Phrygia Pacatiana.}»
