1 Thessalonians Chapter 1
So Paul, Silas, and Timmy are chillin' with the Thessalonian squad, giving a shoutout to God the Father and our homie Jesus Christ. Much grace and peace to you all, fam!
Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians {which is} in God the Father and {in} the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace {be} unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We stay grateful to God for y’all, keeping you lifted in our prayers, no cap.
We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
Always remembering your faith grind, love hustle, and hope patience for our dude Jesus, all while God’s peeping.
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
We know, for real, you’re chosen by God, for sure.
Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God. {beloved...: or, beloved of God, your election}
Our gospel didn’t just drop knowledge, it came in power and vibes from the Holy Spirit; you peeped how we rolled for your sake.
For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
You all followed us and the Lord, carrying the word even through the struggles, all while catching Holy Ghost joy.
And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:
You were straight-up inspirations for all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia, fr.
So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.
Your faith in God blew up, spreading the word beyond Macedonia and Achaia; we don’t even need to say much.
For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.
They’re out here spreading the tea on how we pulled up to you and how you ditched idols to serve the real and living God.
For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
And you’re on the lookout for His Son from heaven, the one He raised up from the dead, even Jesus, who saved us from the upcoming chaos.
And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, {even} Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
