1 Kings Chapter 10
So when the queen of Sheba caught wind of Solomon's charm and the vibes from the Lord, she decided to roll up to challenge him with some hard-hitting questions.
And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.
She arrived in Jerusalem with a whole entourage, camels loaded with spices, stacks of gold, and gems: when she met Solomon, she opened up and shared what was on her mind.
And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.
Solomon spilled knowledge on all her queries: nothing was off the table for the king, he laid it all out, no cap.
And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not {any} thing hid from the king, which he told her not. {questions: Heb. words}
Once the queen peeped Solomon’s smarts and the sick pad he designed,
And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built,
the feast at his table, the vibes of his crew, the style of his ministers, and how he cruised to the Lord’s house; she was mind-blown, no spirit left.
And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her. {attendance: Heb. standing} {cupbearers: or, butlers}
She said to the king, "For real, I heard the 411 back home about your moves and wisdom."
And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom. {report: Heb. word} {acts: or, sayings}
But I wasn’t buying it till I saw it: and wow, they didn’t even scratch the surface: your wisdom and glow-up are on another level, fr.
Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen {it}: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard. {thy...: Heb. thou hast added wisdom and goodness to}
Your crew is blessed, your servants are vibing', always in your presence soaking in your wisdom.
Happy {are} thy men, happy {are} these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, {and} that hear thy wisdom.
Shoutout to the Lord your God, who’s hyped about you, putting you on that Israel throne: the Lord loves Israel for life, so he made you king to keep it real and just.
Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.
She hooked the king up with 120 talents of gold, a wild amount of spices, and precious stones: no one ever dropped a haul like Queen Sheba did for King Solomon.
And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.
Hiram's crew pulled through with gold from Ophir and brought in a ton of almug trees and some sick gems.
And the navy also of Hiram, that brought gold from Ophir, brought in from Ophir great plenty of almug trees, and precious stones. {almug...: also called, algum trees}
The king turned those almug trees into pillars for the Lord's crib and his own, plus crafted some lit harps and psalteries for the singers: no cap, you ain’t seen almug trees like this before.
And the king made of the almug trees pillars for the house of the LORD, and for the king's house, harps also and psalteries for singers: there came no such almug trees, nor were seen unto this day. {pillars: or, rails: Heb. a prop}
King Solomon hooked the queen of Sheba up with all she desired, plus more from his royal stash. She headed back home with her crew.
And king Solomon gave unto the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside {that} which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants. {of his...: Heb. according to the hand of king Solomon}
In a single year, Solomon stacked 666 talents of gold, like that's a serious vibe.
Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold,
On top of that, he was amassing wealth from merchants, spice dealers, and all the kings in Arabia, plus the local governors.
Beside {that he had} of the merchantmen, and of the traffick of the spice merchants, and of all the kings of Arabia, and of the governors of the country. {governors: or, captains}
Solomon crafted 200 gold targets, each one was valued at 600 shekels of gold.
And king Solomon made two hundred targets {of} beaten gold: six hundred {shekels} of gold went to one target.
He also made 300 gold shields; each one required three pounds of gold, and the king placed them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.
And {he made} three hundred shields {of} beaten gold; three pound of gold went to one shield: and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.
Moreover, the king made a gigantic throne out of ivory and coated it in the finest gold.
Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with the best gold.
The throne had six steps, rounded in the back, with support on each side and two lions chilling next to them.

There were also twelve lions, one on each side of the six steps: no other kingdom had a setup like this, fr.
And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom. {the like: Heb. so}
All of King Solomon's drinkware was straight gold, like pure vibes. Silver? Nah, that was sus back in Solomon's day.
And all king Solomon's drinking vessels {were of} gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon {were of} pure gold; none {were of} silver: it was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon. {none...: or, there was no silver in them}
The king had a whole navy squad from Tharshish, flexing with Hiram's crew. Every three years, they’d roll in with gold, silver, ivory, monkeys, and peacocks.
For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks. {ivory: or, elephants' teeth}
King Solomon was the GOAT, outshining all the kings on the globe with his wealth and wisdom.
So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.
Everyone was trying to get at Solomon to soak in that wisdom God dropped in his heart.
And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart. {sought to: Heb. sought the face of}
They rolled through with gifts: silver and gold stuff, clothes, armor, spices, horses, and mules, all year long.
And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.
Solomon stacked up chariots and horsemen: about 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horsemen, hanging out in the cities and with the king in Jerusalem.
And Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he bestowed in the cities for chariots, and with the king at Jerusalem.
Silver was so common in Jerusalem, it was like pebbles, and cedars were as abundant as sycamore trees in the valley.
And the king made silver {to be} in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made he {to be} as the sycomore trees that {are} in the vale, for abundance. {made: Heb. gave}
Solomon had horses shipped in from Egypt, along with linen yarn; the king's merchants were making bank on that linen.
And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king's merchants received the linen yarn at a price. {And Solomon...: Heb. And the going forth of the horses which was Solomon's}
A chariot rolled out from Egypt for 600 shekels of silver, and a horse for 150; they were bringing that heat for all the kings of the Hittites and Syria.
And a chariot came up and went out of Egypt for six hundred {shekels} of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, did they bring {them} out by their means. {by their...: Heb. by their hand}
