1 John Chapter 5
If you're vibing with Jesus as the Christ, you're born from God; and anyone who loves the Father also loves the kids.
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. {is born: Gr. has been born}
We can tell we’re loving God’s kids when we show love for God and stick to His rules.
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
For real, loving God means following His commandments, and they aren't a hassle.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
Anything birthed by God totally conquers the world, and our faith is the ultimate flex.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, {even} our faith. {is born: Gr. has been born}
Who’s the one that conquers the world? It's the one who has faith that Jesus is the Son of God, no cap.
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
This is the dude who came through water and blood, Jesus Christ; not just water, but water with blood. The Spirit's the one backing this up, 'cause the Spirit is truth.
This is he that came by water and blood, {even} Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
There are three that testify up in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and they’re all one squad.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
And on earth, there are three that vibe: the spirit, the water, and the blood, and they all roll together as one.
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
If we trust the testimony of people, God’s testimony is way more legit; this is what God says about His Son.
If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
Whoever has faith in the Son of God carries that witness inside; if you doubt God, you’re calling Him a liar, 'cause you’re not vibing with the message He revealed about His Son.
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
And here’s the tea: God gave us eternal life, and this life is found in His Son.
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
Whoever’s got the Son has life; if you don’t have the Son of God, you’re missing out on real life.
He that hath the Son hath life; {and} he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
I wrote all this for you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so you can be sure you’ve got eternal life and trust in His name.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
And this is the confidence we hold in Him: if we ask for anything that vibes with His will, He hears us, periodt.
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: {in: or, concerning}
And if we’re aware He hears us, whatever we ask, we know we got what we requested from Him.
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
If anyone sees their bro tripping with a non-death sin, they should ask, and he’ll give life to those not sinning unto death. There is a sin unto death, and I’m not saying to pray about that.
If any man see his brother sin a sin {which is} not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
All unrighteousness is sin, and there’s a sin that’s not unto death.
All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
We recognize that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin; the one birthed by God protects themselves, and the wicked one can’t touch them.
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. {is born: Gr. has been born}
And we know we’re from God, while the whole world is out here in wickedness.
{And} we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
And we understand that the Son of God has come and given us insight so we can know what’s real, and we’re in what’s real, especially in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, {even} in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
