1 Corinthians Chapter 7
Ayo, regarding the things you reached out to me about: it’s all good for a dude to not get with a girl.
Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: {It is} good for a man not to touch a woman.
But no cap, to avoid that sus vibe, every dude should have his own girl, and every girl her own dude.
Nevertheless, {to avoid} fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
The hubby needs to show love to the wifey, and the wifey’s gotta do the same back, no debate.
Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
Wifey doesn’t own her body, the hubby does; and it’s the same for the hubby, the wifey's got that heat too.
The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
Don’t mess with each other, unless you both agree to take a break for prayer and fasting; then come back together, so Satan doesn’t get you with that temptation of lust.
Defraud ye not one the other, except {it be} with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
I’m just dropping this as permission, not like it’s a command or something.
But I speak this by permission, {and} not of commandment.
I wish all dudes were like me, but each dude’s got his own unique blessing from God, some this way, some that way.
For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
So I’m saying to the singles and the widows, it’s dope if they chill like I do.
I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.
But if they can’t hold back, let them tie the knot: it’s way better to marry than to be feeling all heated up.
But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
And for the married folks, I’m saying, but not me, the Lord’s saying, don’t let the wifey bounce from the hubby.
And unto the married I command, {yet} not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from {her} husband:
But if she does dip, she should stay single or vibe with her dude again; no cap, the guy can’t just ghost his wife.
But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to {her} husband: and let not the husband put away {his} wife.
Yo, for the other people, this is my take, not the Lord’s: If a dude's got a wifey who’s not into faith, and she’s cool with him, he shouldn’t kick her to the curb.
But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
And if a wifey’s got a dude who’s not about that faith, but he’s chill with her, she shouldn’t bounce on him.
And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
The non-believing hubby gets blessed by the wifey, and the non-believing wifey gets blessed by the hubby; otherwise, your kids would be sus, but now they’re holy.
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
But if the non-believer wants to dip, let 'em go. A bro or sis is not stuck in that situation; God’s all about that peace life.
But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such {cases}: but God hath called us to peace. {to peace: Gr. in peace}
For real, what do you know, wifey? You might save your hubby; or bro, how do you know you’ll save your wifey?
For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save {thy} husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save {thy} wife? {how: Gr. what}
Just like God’s given each person their own path, as the Lord has called them, let them roll with it. I’m saying this in all the churches, for real.
But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.
If a dude’s called when he’s circumcised, he shouldn’t go uncircumcised; if he’s called while uncircumcised, he shouldn’t get circumcised.
Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.
Circumcision? Doesn’t matter. Uncircumcision? Also doesn’t matter. Just keep God’s commandments, that’s what’s lit.
Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
Let each person chill in the calling they got when they were called.
Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.
If you’re vibing as a servant, don’t sweat it; but if you can bounce, do that instead.
Art thou called {being} a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use {it} rather.
If you’re called by the Lord and you’re a servant, you’re actually free; and if you’re free, you’re Christ’s servant, no cap.
For he that is called in the Lord, {being} a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, {being} free, is Christ's servant. {freeman: Gr. made free}
You were bought with a price; don’t be out here serving people.
Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.
Fam, let each person chill where they’re called, and keep it real with God.
Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
About the virgins, I got no command from the Lord, but I’m sharing my thoughts since I got mercy from Him to keep it real.
Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.
I think this is a solid move for the current stress, so yeah, it’s good for a dude to stay like that.
I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, {I say}, that {it is} good for a man so to be. {distress: or, necessity}
If you’re tied to a wife, don’t try to break free. If you’re free from a wife, don’t trip about finding one.
Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.
But if you do marry, you haven’t sinned; and if a virgin gets hitched, she ain’t sinned either. Just know it might get a little tough, but I got your back.
But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.
Yo, pay attention, fam: time is short; those with wives should act like they don’t even have one.
But this I say, brethren, the time {is} short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;
And those who are crying, act like they’re not crying; those who are hype, act like they ain’t hype; and those who are buying stuff, act like they don’t own anything.
And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;
If you’re vibing with this world, just don’t abuse it, fam. This world’s trends are sus and fade away, for real.
And they that use this world, as not abusing {it}: for the fashion of this world passeth away.
No stress, I got you. If you’re single, you’re all about what the Lord wants, and that’s dope.
But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: {that belong...: Gr. of the Lord}
But if you’re hitched, you’re focused on making your wifey happy, periodt.
But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please {his} wife.
There’s a difference between a wife and a single girl. The single lady is all about the Lord, keeping it holy in body and spirit; but the wifey is busy trying to please her hubby, fr.
There is difference {also} between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please {her} husband.
I’m dropping this knowledge for your own good, not to trap you, but so you can chill with the Lord without distractions, you feel me?
And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
If a dude thinks he’s acting sus towards his girl and she’s ready to settle down, let him do his thing, he’s not sinning; they can just marry.
But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of {her} age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.
But if he's solid in his heart, has no rush, and wants to keep his girl single, that’s cool too, he’s doing good.
Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.
So if he marries her, that’s legit; but honestly, if he doesn’t, that’s even better, no cap.
So then he that giveth {her} in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth {her} not in marriage doeth better.
A wifey’s tied to her man as long as he’s alive; but if he passes, she can marry whoever she wants, just keep it in the Lord’s vibe.
The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.
She’s way happier if she stays single, that’s my two cents; and I’m pretty sure I got the Spirit of God backing me up.
But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.
