1 Corinthians Chapter 3
Listen up, fam, I couldn't connect with you like spiritual homies, but more like little ones in Christ, no cap.
And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, {even} as unto babes in Christ.
I was serving you that baby food, not the solid meals, 'cause you weren't vibing with that level yet, fr.
I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able {to bear it}, neither yet now are ye able.
Y'all still on that weak energy: jealousy, chaos, and divisions? Like, are you just acting all kinds of sus?
For ye are yet carnal: for whereas {there is} among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? {divisions: or, factions} {as men: Gr. according to man?}
One’s saying, 'I roll with Paul,' while another’s like, 'I'm down with Apollos;' you guys are still being hella basic, fr.
For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I {am} of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
So who is Paul, and who is Apollos? Just some servants helping you believe, periodt.
Who then is Paul, and who {is} Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
I dropped the seeds, Apollos poured the water; but God’s the one making it blow up.
I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
So it ain't about the one planting or the one watering; it’s all God doing His thing, no cap.
So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
The planter and the waterer are in the same crew; everyone’s pocketing their own reward based on their hustle.
Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
We’re all grinding together with God; you’re His garden, you’re His construct, straight up.
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, {ye are} God's building. {husbandry: or, tillage}
Thanks to God’s grace, I laid the groundwork like a skilled builder, and someone else is stacking on it. Be careful how you build, fam.
According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
There's no other base that can be set except the one that’s Jesus Christ, fr.
For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
If anyone’s constructing on this foundation with gold, silver, or sick stones, or just basic materials like wood and hay;
Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
Every person's work is gonna be revealed for what it is; the day will show it, 'cause fire’s gonna test everything.
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. {it shall be: Gr. it is}
If your work survives the fire test, you’ll score a reward, bet.
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
But if your work gets toasted, you’ll miss out; you’ll be saved, but like, through the flames, fr.
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Don’t you realize you’re the temple of God, and His Spirit is living inside you?
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and {that} the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
If anyone messes with God’s temple, God’s gonna roll on them; His temple is sacred, and that’s you, periodt.
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which {temple} ye are. {defile: or, destroy}
Don’t let anyone deceive themselves. If you think you’re wise in this world, you gotta become a fool to get that true knowledge.
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
The world’s wisdom is straight foolishness to God, like, He catches the wise in their own trap, no cap.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
And once again, the Lord knows what the wise are scheming, and it’s all just empty vibes.
And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
So don’t boast on others; everything is yours, fam.
Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
Whether it’s Paul, Apollos, Cephas, or the world, life, death, present stuff, or future things; it’s all yours.
Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
And you belong to Christ; and Christ is of God, no cap.
And ye are Christ's; and Christ {is} God's.
