1 Corinthians Chapter 15
Listen up, fam, I'm here to dish out the gospel I shared with you, the one you totally vibed to and are holding onto;
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
This is the key to salvation: just gotta keep it real with what I told you, unless you believed for no reason, straight up.
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. {keep...: or, hold fast} {what: Gr. by what speech}
I hit you with the ultimate truth first: Christ got taken out for our sins, all according to the holy vibes.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
He was buried, then came back to life on the third day, just like the scriptures said, no cap!
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
He rolled up on Cephas first, then showed up to the twelve crew.
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
After that, he flexed in front of over five hundred people at once; most are still around, but some have checked out, fr.
After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
Then he made an appearance to James, and all the apostles, no joke.
After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
And last but not least, he showed up for me too, like I missed the memo on when the party started.
And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. {one...: or, an abortive}
I’m the least of the apostles, not even worthy to claim that title, since I was out here going after the church, savage.
For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
But thanks to God's grace, I’m here doing my thing: his grace wasn’t wasted on me; I hustled more than anyone, but it was honestly God's grace fueling me, periodt.
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which {was bestowed} upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
So whether it's me or the whole crew, we preach, and y’all are vibing with it.
Therefore whether {it were} I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
But like, if we’re claiming Christ rose from the dead, why are some of y’all acting like there’s no resurrection?
Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
For real, if there’s no resurrection, then Christ didn’t rise, no cap.
But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
And if Christ ain't risen, our preaching is sus, and your faith? Totally sus too.
And if Christ be not risen, then {is} our preaching vain, and your faith {is} also vain.
Yup, we’d be fake witnesses of God 'cause we said He raised Christ, but if the dead don’t rise, that’s a hard pass.
Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
If the dead don’t rise, then Christ ain’t raised, fr.
For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
And if Christ ain’t raised, your faith is sus; you’re still stuck in your sins.
And if Christ be not raised, your faith {is} vain; ye are yet in your sins.
Then all those who fell asleep in Christ? They straight up vanished.
Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
If our hope in Christ is just for this life, we’re the most miserable people around.
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
But for real, Christ is risen from the dead, the ultimate firstfruits of those who slept.
But now is Christ risen from the dead, {and} become the firstfruits of them that slept.
So like, death came through one dude, but another dude brought life back. No cap.
For since by man {came} death, by man {came} also the resurrection of the dead.
Just like Adam got everyone to bite the dust, Christ is here to bring us all back to life. Periodt.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
But everyone’s got their own vibe: Christ is the first drop, then everybody who’s rolling with him when he shows up.
But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
Then it’s game over, when he hands the kingdom back to God, and puts all the haters in check.
Then {cometh} the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
He’s got to be the boss until all his enemies are handled.
For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
The last enemy to be taken out? Death itself.
The last enemy {that} shall be destroyed {is} death.
He’s got everything under control, but when it’s said that everything’s under him, it’s clear he’s the exception.
For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under {him, it is} manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
And when everything’s chillin’ under him, the Son’s gotta submit to the one who put everything under him, so God can be the ultimate vibe.
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
Otherwise, what’s the point of getting baptized for the dead if they’re not coming back? Like, what’s the purpose?
Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
And why are we risking it all every hour?
And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
No cap, I’m vibing with your joy in Christ Jesus, but I’m out here dying daily, fr.
I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. {your: some read, our}
If I’m out here tussling with wild animals in Ephesus, what’s the point if the dead don’t rise? Let’s just eat and drink; tomorrow we chill.
If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die. {after...: or, to speak after the manner of men}
Don’t be sus: bad vibes mess up good manners, periodt.
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
Wake up to righteousness and stop sinning; some peeps don’t even know God, and that’s kinda shameful, no cap.
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak {this} to your shame.
But some dude’s gonna ask, “How do the dead get raised? What’s the body like?”
But some {man} will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
Bro, you’re wild: what you plant doesn’t come to life unless it dies first.
{Thou} fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
And what you plant isn’t the body that’s gonna be, just a bare seed, like wheat or whatever.
And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other {grain}:
But God gives it a body that’s lit, however He feels, and each seed gets its own body, no cap.
But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
Not all flesh is the same: humans got one vibe, beasts got another, fish are different, and birds got their own thing going on.
All flesh {is} not the same flesh: but {there is} one {kind of} flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, {and} another of birds.
There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is one vibe, and the glory of the earthly is another.
{There are} also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial {is} one, and the {glory} of the terrestrial {is} another.
The sun's got its own shine, the moon's vibin' different, and the stars? Each one’s lit in its own way.
{There is} one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for {one} star differeth from {another} star in glory.
Same vibe with the resurrection. It’s like, buried in the messy stuff; but then it pops off in pure form.
So also {is} the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
Sown in lowkey shame, raised in glory; sown weak, but raised with mad power.
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
Sown as a normal body; raised as a spiritual flex. Natural bodies exist, and so do spiritual ones, no cap.
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
It’s written, first Adam was a living soul; last Adam? Straight up a life-giving spirit.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam {was made} a quickening spirit.
But for real, the spiritual ain't first, natural comes first; then the spiritual drops.
Howbeit that {was} not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
First dude is from the ground, all earthy; second dude? He’s the Lord, straight from heaven.
The first man {is} of the earth, earthy: the second man {is} the Lord from heaven.
As the earthy vibes, so do the earthy folks; and as the heavenly is, so are the heavenly peeps.
As {is} the earthy, such {are} they also that are earthy: and as {is} the heavenly, such {are} they also that are heavenly.
We’ve rocked the earthy look, so we’re gonna flex the heavenly image too.
And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
Yo, listen up, fam: flesh and blood can’t slide into God’s kingdom; corruption ain’t getting that incorruption.
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Yo, peep this, I’m about to drop a mystery; not everyone’s gonna take a nap, but we’re all getting a glow-up, fr.
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a blink, like blink and you’ll miss it, at the final trump: the horn's gonna blast, and the peeps who passed will rise up unbothered, and we’ll get that upgrade.
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
This old, worn-out vibe gotta switch to something fresh, and this mortal life gotta level up to forever.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal {must} put on immortality.
So when this old vibe's got the fresh upgrade, and this mortal's rocking immortality, then it’s gonna be epic when we say, Death is totally owned by victory.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Yo death, where’s your sting? Yo grave, where’s your win?
O death, where {is} thy sting? O grave, where {is} thy victory? {grave: or, hell}
The sting of death is straight-up sin; and the power of sin is the law, no cap.
The sting of death {is} sin; and the strength of sin {is} the law.
But big ups to God, who gives us the win through our homie, Jesus Christ.
But thanks {be} to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
So, fam, stay strong, unshakeable, always popping off in the Lord’s work, 'cause you know your grind ain't in vain, periodt.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
