1 Chronicles Chapter 27
They counted up the crew of Israel, like, the main fam and captains rollin' with thousands and hundreds, all the officers vibin' with the king, flipping in and out month after month, and it was a straight-up total of twenty-four thousand, no cap.
Now the children of Israel after their number, {to wit}, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course {were} twenty and four thousand.
For the first month, Jashobeam, son of Zabdiel, was leading the first crew, and they rolled with twenty-four thousand in their squad.
Over the first course for the first month {was} Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course {were} twenty and four thousand.
The head of the Perez fam was running all the captains for the first month, no doubt.
Of the children of Perez {was} the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.
In the second month, Dodai the Ahohite was steering the ship, and Mikloth was the man too: they also had twenty-four thousand in their lineup.

For the third month, Benaiah, son of Jehoiada, a chief priest, was the third captain, and his crew was at twenty-four thousand, fr.

This Benaiah was a total beast among the thirty, for real, he was above them too: his son Ammizabad was on his squad.

The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel, Joab's brother, and his son Zebadiah was next in line: they also vibed with twenty-four thousand in their crew.

The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite, and his squad stacked twenty-four thousand too, no cap.

The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira, son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, and he was rolling with twenty-four thousand in his crew, lit.

The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite from Ephraim's fam, and he too had twenty-four thousand in his squad.

The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, and he had a squad of 24k. Vibes.

The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anetothite, chilling with 24k too. Lit.

But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.
Joab, son of Zeruiah, kicked off the counting but didn’t wrap it up, 'cause there was major drama against Israel; they didn’t even toss that number into David’s history books.

Jaziz the Hagerite was taking care of the flocks. These peeps were the bosses of all the stuff that King David had.
And over the flocks {was} Jaziz the Hagerite. All these {were} the rulers of the substance which {was} king David's.
Jonathan, David's uncle, was the goated advisor, super wise, and a scribe: Jehiel, son of Hachmoni, was vibing with the king's crew.
Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni {was} with the king's sons: {scribe: or, secretary} {son...: or, Hachmonite}
Ahithophel was the king's main advisor, and Hushai the Archite was his ride-or-die.

After Ahithophel, there was Jehoiada, son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: Joab was the general of the king's crew.
