Ayo, let’s chat about the squad of the porters: Meshelemiah, son of Kore from the Korhites, is definitely in the mix.
Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites {was} Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph. {Meshelemiah: also called, Shelemiah} {Asaph: also called, Ebiasaph}
Meshelemiah’s crew is fire: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, and Jathniel the fourth.
And the sons of Meshelemiah {were}, Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
Elam is the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, and Elioenai the seventh, no cap.

Obed-edom’s fam includes Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth.

Shemaiah had sons who were straight-up champs in their pops' crib; they were total warriors.
Also unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they {were} mighty men of valour.
Shemaiah's sons: Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad, plus their strong bros, Elihu and Semachiah, all vibes.
The sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren {were} strong men, Elihu, and Semachiah.
All these guys from Obed-edom, with their sons and bros, were solid for the grind, totaling 62 strong men.
All these of the sons of Obededom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, {were} threescore and two of Obededom.
Meshelemiah had a team of strong men, 18 in total, straight up.
And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong men, eighteen.
Hosah from Merari also had sons; Simri was the main dude, even though he wasn’t firstborn, he was made chief.
Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for {though} he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief;)
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: the whole fam of Hosah was thirteen, no cap.

Among these were the crews of the porters, including the top dogs, vibing to serve in the Lord's house.
Among these {were} the divisions of the porters, {even} among the chief men, {having} wards one against another, to minister in the house of the LORD.
They rolled dice, big and small, based on the fam they came from, for every gate, periodt.
And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate. {as well...: or, as well for the small as for the great}
The lot for the eastside went to Shelemiah. Then for his son Zechariah, who was a wise dude, they rolled again; his lot hit the northside.
And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward. {Shelemiah: also called Meshelemiah}
Obed–edom got the southside; and for his sons, the house of Asuppim, straight up.
To Obededom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim. {Asuppim: Heb. gatherings}
Shuppim and Hosah snagged the lot for the westside, with the gate Shallecheth, by the way up, ward against ward, fr.
To Shuppim and Hosah {the lot came forth} westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.
Eastside had six Levites, northside four a day, southside four a day, and towards Asuppim, two and two, lit.
Eastward {were} six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two {and} two.
At Parbar westside, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar, no cap.
At Parbar westward, four at the causeway, {and} two at Parbar.
These are the crews of the porters among the sons of Kore and the sons of Merari, straight up.
These {are} the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.
As for the Levites, Ahijah was the boss over the treasures of God's house and all the dedicated stuff, goated.
And of the Levites, Ahijah {was} over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things. {dedicated...: Heb. holy things}
The fam of Laadan, like the OGs from Gershon, had this dude named Jehieli doing big things.
{As concerning} the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, {even} of Laadan the Gershonite, {were} Jehieli. {Laadan: also called, Libni} {Jehieli: also called, Jehiel}
Jehieli's squad consisted of Zetham and his bro Joel, and they were in charge of all the treasures at the Lord’s crib.
The sons of Jehieli; Zetham, and Joel his brother, {which were} over the treasures of the house of the LORD.
We got the Amramites, Izharites, Hebronites, and Uzzielites rolling deep.
Of the Amramites, {and} the Izharites, the Hebronites, {and} the Uzzielites:
Shebuel, Gershom's kid, was straight up ruling over the treasure game, no cap.
And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, {was} ruler of the treasures.
His crew from Eliezer was fire: Rehabiah, Jeshaiah, Joram, Zichri, and Shelomith, all fam.
And his brethren by Eliezer; Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.
Shelomith and his squad were in charge of all the dedicated treasures that King David and the big bosses put aside.
Which Shelomith and his brethren {were} over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.
They dedicated spoils from battles to keep the Lord's house on fleek.
Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of the LORD. {spoils...: Heb. battles and spoils}
Samuel the seer, Saul, Abner, and Joab all dedicated stuff, and Shelomith and his crew handled it all, periodt.
And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; {and} whosoever had dedicated {any thing, it was} under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.
The Izharites had Chenaniah and his boys taking care of the biz over Israel, like judges and officers.
Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons {were} for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
The Hebronites, led by Hashabiah and his savage crew of 1,700, were the real deal for the Lord's work on this side of the Jordan, serving the king.
{And} of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, {were} officers among them of Israel on this side Jordan westward in all the business of the LORD, and in the service of the king. {officers...: Heb. over the charge}
So, Jerijah was the top dog among the Hebronites, fam. In David's 40th year as king, they found some straight-up legends at Jazer of Gilead.
Among the Hebronites {was} Jerijah the chief, {even} among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.
His crew, like 2,700 boss dads, were made leaders by King David over the Reubenites, Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh, handling all things God and king stuff.
And his brethren, men of valour, {were} two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the king. {affairs: Heb. thing}
