1 Chronicles Chapter 16
So they brought the ark of God and set it up in the tent that David crafted for it. They were like, "Let’s vibe with some burnt offerings and peace vibes for God."
So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.
Once David wrapped up the offerings, he blessed the squad in the name of the Lord.
And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
He hooked everyone in Israel, both guys and gals, with a loaf of bread, a solid piece of meat, and a chill cup of wine.
And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon {of wine}.
He got some Levites to serve right in front of the ark of the Lord, keeping it 100 with recording, thanking, and praising the Lord God of Israel.
And he appointed {certain} of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:
Asaph was the main dude, with Zechariah, Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, and Obed-edom vibing next to him. Jeiel was on the psaltery and harps, but Asaph was hitting those cymbals.
Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals; {with psalteries...: Heb. with instruments of psalteries and harps}
Benaiah and Jahaziel, the priests, were blowing trumpets nonstop in front of the ark of the covenant of God.
Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
On that day, David dropped this psalm to thank the Lord into the hands of Asaph and his crew.
Then on that day David delivered first {this psalm} to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name, and let everyone know about His moves.
Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
Sing to Him, drop those psalms, and talk about all His epic works.
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
Flex on His holy name: let the hearts of those looking for the Lord be lit.
Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
Seek the Lord and His strength; keep that vibe alive for real.
Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
Remember the wild stuff He’s done, His wonders, and the truths He serves;
Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
Yo, you fam of Israel, His crew, the chosen ones of Jacob.
O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
He’s our Lord, for real; His judgments are everywhere, no cap.
He {is} the LORD our God; his judgments {are} in all the earth.
Always keep His covenant in your thoughts; the word He dropped lasts for a thousand generations;
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word {which} he commanded to a thousand generations;
Even the covenant He made with Abraham and His promise to Isaac;
{Even of the covenant} which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
And He locked it in with Jacob as a law, and to Israel as a forever deal,
And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, {and} to Israel {for} an everlasting covenant,
Saying, "I’m giving you the land of Canaan, that’s your inheritance, fam;"
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance; {the lot: Heb. the cord}
When you were just a few, like, super lowkey, and strangers in it.
When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it. {few, even: Heb. men of number, etc}
And when they rolled from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another crew;
And {when} they went from nation to nation, and from {one} kingdom to another people;
He didn’t let anyone mess with them, fr. He even checked kings for their sake, no cap.
He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
He said, "Don’t touch my crew, and leave my prophets alone, periodt."
{Saying}, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Sing to the Lord, everyone; flex His salvation every single day, it’s lit.
Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.
Show off His glory to the nations; His dope works are for all to see, vibes.
Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.
The Lord is straight-up great and deserves mad praise; He’s the GOAT above all gods.
For great {is} the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also {is} to be feared above all gods.
All those other gods are just sus idols; the Lord crafted the heavens, no cap.
For all the gods of the people {are} idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
Glory and honor are in His presence; strength and good vibes are in His spot.
Glory and honour {are} in his presence; strength and gladness {are} in his place.
Give it up for the Lord, fam; bring Him that glory and strength; it’s bussin’.
Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Show the Lord the glory He deserves; bring an offering and come through to worship Him in holiness, periodt.
Give unto the LORD the glory {due} unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
Respect Him, all the earth; the world will stay solid, no way it's moving, fr.
Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
Let the heavens vibe, and the earth be lit: and let the people say among the nations, The Lord's got the rizz.
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let {men} say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.
Let the sea roar, and all the good stuff in it; let the fields pop off, and everything in there.
Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that {is} therein.
Then the trees in the woods will sing when the Lord shows up, 'cause He's here to judge the earth, no cap.
Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.
O give thanks to the Lord; He's good, His mercy is forever bussin.
O give thanks unto the LORD; for {he is} good; for his mercy {endureth} for ever.
And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, gather us up, and deliver us from the sus vibes, so we can thank Your holy name and flex in Your praise.
And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, {and} glory in thy praise.
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel forever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the Lord, fr.
Blessed {be} the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.
So he dipped from there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord with Asaph and his crew, to serve before the ark like it was their daily grind.
So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:
And Obed-edom with his crew, 68 strong; Obed-edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah were the porters, keeping it real.
And Obededom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obededom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah {to be} porters:
Zadok the priest and his priest homies were before the tabernacle of the Lord at the high place in Gibeon, doing their thing.
And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that {was} at Gibeon,
To offer burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of the burnt offering, keeping it lit morning and evening, and following all the law that the Lord dropped on Israel;
To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and {to do} according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel; {morning...: Heb. in the morning, and in the evening}
Heman and Jeduthun rolled up with the crew, all the chosen ones, ready to give mad thanks to the Lord 'cause His mercy is forever, no cap.
And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy {endureth} for ever;
Heman and Jeduthun brought the trumpets and cymbals, making some dope sounds with the music of God. Jeduthun's sons were on the door duty, fr.
And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun {were} porters. {porters: Heb. for the gate}
Then everyone bounced back home, and David was like, "Time to bless my crib."
And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
